- MacParrot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Battlestar Galactica, the best sci-fi on TV since Firefly. The mini episodes have waiting with unrestrained glee at what's coming for season 3.
- CLIFFosakaJAPAN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13A very smart move regarding a way to recruit more rabid fans. iTunes is now becoming a a gateway drug
- replica, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Same episode is available for download on Xbox Live.
- naio21, on 10/12/2007, -17/+2Frak me! So Apple Humpers like BSG too?
- chrisgeleven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Always wanted to check out this show, just never got to it. Well, it is a good excuse to test out getting a video off of iTunes.
- afeitarse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Nooooo! Watch all the episodes first! You don't want to spoil all the surprises for yourself.
- Redwan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I work on BSG and can tell you this next season is going to be awesome.
I wish some of the surprises weren't already ruined for me. - drakethegreat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Fair viewpoint but most people don't have that sort of time to sit and play catch up this close to the start of a new season. Besides more goes on in past episodes then what this video has in it from my guess, so its not as if you can't go back and watch the old episodes and then think it was a total waste.
- dicerandom, on 10/12/2007, -14/+0Season 3 starts on the 6th you say? Fire up your torrent clients everyone!
Edit: Hmm, looks like the torrent client will be needed to watch this review too. As if I'm going to go off and install iTunes on my machine. - thecapuchin, on 10/12/2007, -15/+15Damn straight. Watch the full series before you watch the retrospective. It is by far the best show on TV and I would say that while Firefly was an excellent show, BSG kicks it's shiny ass.
- explorer509, on 10/12/2007, -13/+8Dugg down for Firefly insult!
- Kypt, on 10/12/2007, -8/+7Wow, come on now...Firefly > *. You might like BSG but we ALL know that no one can take Firefly's place in our heart :P
- modifiedbears, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6the firefly theme song killed that show, along with the gay looking logo. seriously one of the worst tv show theme songs ever made.
- tavisjohn, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Dig Up for Futurama refrence!
- diggaiden, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Aw, come on, one can like both equally. Why choose between Inara, Zoe, Saffron, Six, Boomer and Starbuck when you can watch 'em all?
- mercano, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You forgot Kaylee. And thecapuchin, show some respect for the dead (TV shows).
- explorer509, on 10/12/2007, -13/+8Dugg down for Firefly insult!

- monkeyrun, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5sweet :) I have no idea what Battlestar Galactica is, but I want to d/l something from iTunes.
- combatchuck, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Too bad it requires iTunes 7. I refuse to upgrade until they make it run right with my games.
- richardlawler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5You can also see it on XBox Live. It's been up there for a few weeks.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Grace Park is such a hottie: http://schadenfreude.cogitox.com/images/dr-grace_park01.jpg
And all the other women on the show are hot too.- desimaniac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5thanks for that.. :)
- Anomaly427, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Not just a hottie, but a one with a strong no-***** personality. She makes most of the other women look weak and ordinary. I'd watch BSG just for Grace Park :-).
- richardlawler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6But she's a frackin' Cylon!
- geekdreams, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Well, nobody's perfect.
- xelloss, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Is this the same thing that was for the Xbox 360 like last month?
- modifiedbears, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2yes
- Vizin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7This is a good idea on their part, shows like this tend to put off new viewers because it's nearly impossible to jump in and have any idea what's going on. Thank god for Bit...I mean, thank god for DVD box sets.
- spyres, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Not worth installing apples crappy windows version of I-tunes.
- Jimtac, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Again with the "Only in the US iTunes store" trouble... Oh well... I guess there are other means of delivery, and with better quality to boot.
- ZoomPicard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It does sux. The internet should break down borders not put them right back up. I would happily pay for every episode of battlestar when it came out on the internet but dennying access to things makes people just obtain things other ways.
- Qoogirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I saw one episode of this on Sci-Fi randomly one day, and I thought, "Oh, it's that guy from Bridget Jones's Diary!" I wanted to keep watching the series, but it's nearly impossible with this kind of show to just jump in during season 2. I'm glad there's a re-hash because I didn't want to buy a DVD set only to hate the show or get bored. They really ought to do more of these on iTunes.
- Herolint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Just rent it. Then, if you don't like it, you aren't out much.
Personally, I bought seasons 1 and 2 on a whim and thought they were great. - Qoogirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hm, good idea...I should eventually just get Netflix at this rate...
- Herolint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Just rent it. Then, if you don't like it, you aren't out much.
- TheReport, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ive been wanting to get into this show I was wondering If i should hold off on downloading this and watching it first or if I could watch it without it spoiling anything? Could I watch this and still enjoy the plot when I decide to pick up season 1?
- Herolint, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I wouldn't. Watch it from the beginning and avoid this rehash episode.
- Dweller99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4There are some other sources available too, but I would recommend starting with the original mini series and working through. You will not be disappointed.
http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/storysofar/44minuterecap/ - sals-a, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5Babylon 5 owns Battlestar Gallactica
- wstrucke, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7having seen both, i wonder what state of mind someone would have to be in to make that comment.
- sals-a, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Seriously.. dude.. the Babylon 5 plot is ***** perfect. The story arc is so well thought out every episode is connected to every other one. Battlestar owes alot to Babylon 5 so does Lost probably for how crazy the minor details get. And me being relativley young and watching it along time after it aired, still managed to get over the 1994 special effects in season 1 and thats all it takes.. your hooked.
Either way not worth a debate between shows they were made 10 years apart, but Babylon 5 is definatley worth checking out if you have some spare bandwidth or dollars for the dvd sets. - newbietheatre, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3If Lost owns anyone anything it's Forbidden Planet for the gorram plot.
- funduk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4babylon 5 is awesome, ah, memories
- BabyWookie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1BSG has higher production values and often better acting and cinematography than B5, but for hard sci-fi story-telling, nothing beats B5. I like BSG and all, but there's just too much drama and not enough sci-fi for me. They don't even try to inject some real science or futurism into it. It's like they shy away from anything too sci-fi, to appeal to the non-geek mainstream audience. Firefly was the same way, except not nearly as interesting.
BTW, the Korean girl on BSG is gorgeous, but IMO, the Korean girl on Enterprise was even hotter. Loved that episode where this alien guy tried to make her his slave and had her parading around in lingerie. :)
- todddixon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Of course its all well and good as long as you live in the good old USA. In AUS its not available *sigh* We are people too you know...
- laserdisc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I live in the US and it still says invalid country. I checked my profile to make sure it's correct and everything looks correct. Unless New York became a separate sovereign nation without my knowledge.
- pabloD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@laserdisc: if only. . . .
- oedenfield, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this has been out forever, at least something like it. I remember downloading something like it months ago.
- zetsurin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1US only
- soulcatcher78, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This should also be on TV this week *SciFi and Bravo* so check your listings if youdon't want to download it.
- paulgibson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love this program. The new season is not available in the UK yet, and we don't get the itunes TV shows, but this is still cool.
- zoom1928, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I still wonder why they start the new season so close to when the last one was just released on DVD? I ordered mine from Amazon about a month ago, it was released on September 19, and I might receive it before Oct 6 when the next season starts. Even if I do get it before then, there's no way I can watch half the season between now and then. What were they thinking with such a short time between the two? They should have released the DVD more than a month ago to give time to meet demand so the fans can actually buy it and watch it.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is this the same one that NBC showed a few weeks ago on broadcast? It was in HDTV and it was Laura Roslin who narrated it.
- LordSenn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why go through itunes, just goto http://www.scifi.com/pulse/ they have all of them right there and you can watch the new ones as soon as they come out every tuesday and thursday.
- iKato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'd heard good things about the show but never really got around to watching it. All it took was a free download at my convenience and now I'm practically hooked. Others could learn from this.
- methodshop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why not? It's a great show and the price is right (free).
- Jaybo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This special episode was on Xbox Live as a free download roughly a month ago.
