- Bodhinature, on 11/17/2007, -3/+85They didn't even pronounce it right! Its not "Apu Dubai," its Abu Dhabi. The girl was so confused, "Apple Dubai?" What a bunch of ***** retards.
- RollFizzlebeef, on 11/17/2007, -7/+73Continuing in the great FOX tradition of quality and intelligence.
- MrMeikel, on 11/17/2007, -2/+65Ah-boo Dab-e
dhabi != dubai - toetagger, on 11/17/2007, -17/+74Fox is disgusting.
- ggnictee, on 11/17/2007, -5/+55but guys, fact checking is so hard!
- demonsnake69, on 11/18/2007, -0/+42I'm a Pakistani-American Muslim with an AMD processor--does that mean I'm now the ultimate terrorist?
- mojaam, on 11/17/2007, -2/+33"Oohhh the Arabs," that was funny, then the guy on the right was already ready to give you more BS info even after that long speech... true pro.
- ShuttleDisaster, on 11/17/2007, -1/+30hahaha. its clear the black dude has so much to say about this supposed move by apple, and yet seems to know nothing of its partnership with Intel...wow.
- Twoodge, on 11/17/2007, -4/+29Fox got something wrong? Oh gosh never.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -1/+26How can anyone confuse Dubai with Abu Dhabi?
- abddoc, on 11/17/2007, -2/+27Holy ***** that made me laugh. First they get the company wrong, and then they get the pronunciation wrong: "Abu Dubai"? Are all Fox reporters retarded? They should just shoot themselves.
- DatVillain83, on 11/17/2007, -10/+34A. Saw this on Keith Olbermann about 8:26 pm Eastern Time.
2. Digg also made #1 person of the day on Keith Olbermann
D. Keith Olberman's awesome
and lastly whoever recognized this list to be labeled in Home Alone Buzz McAllister sequential order is awesome too because if you're about my age and watch Keith Olbermann that means you probably grew up on Home Alone. - rexbron, on 11/17/2007, -6/+29"We thought it was Apple and we got so excited about it"
Please hire some commentators with... wait, this is Fox News... - EarlOfLade, on 11/17/2007, -7/+27How can anyone confuse Apple with Dubai????
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -1/+19It's not Dubai, it's Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE.
- skews13, on 11/18/2007, -3/+20all fox viewers are confused
- taxali, on 11/17/2007, -1/+17"Abu Dhabi to buy 8 per cent in AMD."
"Apple to buy 8 per cent in AMD."
How the ***** do you confuse those? - inactive, on 11/17/2007, -0/+15That was as pathetic an "analysis" any person graduating with a degree in business could make. I am glad they made the mistake though, because "Oh, the Arabs" was hilarious! :D
- Ireland, on 11/17/2007, -4/+18Very embarrassing. They weren't even clear when they tried to clear it up. No doubt there were still viewers confused.
- Atomic1fire, on 11/18/2007, -2/+15simple
you confuse abu dhabi
with apple to buy - chaparyan, on 11/18/2007, -2/+15you always were ;-)
- shmatt, on 11/18/2007, -3/+15…in the hopes that some of you people will wake up someday.
- Thex1138, on 11/17/2007, -2/+14They Fauxed it up as usual..
- alexforcefive, on 11/18/2007, -0/+12especially if some ***** in your earpiece pronounces it "abu dubai"
- Cam_86, on 11/18/2007, -1/+13Yeah... how a tech analyst WOULDN'T be aware of the massive apple-intel deal(which is nearly 2 years old now) is beyond me. Though as we all know, fox does not put a lot of emphasis on hiring smart people. Loud and pretty people... that's all they're interested in.
- theradical, on 11/17/2007, -3/+14You can't expect FOX to be right ALL the time, can you?
- kamisamaji, on 11/18/2007, -3/+14That's not news ;)
- ItStillMoves, on 11/18/2007, -3/+13You're funny or sad. Anyway, you make me laugh.
- BrainInAJar, on 11/17/2007, -0/+9at least this time they admitted they were wrong, instead of just leaving people to find out from other news sources (or not, as the case may be)
- zeppo, on 11/18/2007, -1/+10Thats nothing sometimes CNN labels Obama as a Republican for some reason.
- FHKE, on 11/18/2007, -2/+11No, they are RIGHT all the time!
- inactive, on 11/17/2007, -0/+9all AMD users will now be labeled as terrorists!
- canthraxp, on 11/18/2007, -2/+11Fox being wrong?
MADNESS! - LeeSoong, on 11/18/2007, -1/+10"Either you are with Intel, or you are with the Terrorists."
- justinjacobs, on 11/17/2007, -1/+10The article title should just be:
"Fox gets it wrong." - explnx, on 04/27/2009, -3/+11Fox actually produces memos instructing its affiliates to present a story a certain way.
- explnx, on 04/27/2009, -0/+8Watch the movie "Outfoxed". At least read about it. They actually got many of the memos (fox issued a press release saying they could not deny the authenticity of them). The movie has a lot of bias itself, but it does contain some hard evidence.
- jordanwlee, on 11/18/2007, -0/+7Resume for FOX NEWS
- G.E.D.
- Registered Republican
- Somewhat literate - Elranzer, on 11/18/2007, -0/+7Straight from the list of typical GOP apologist's responses:
- "Where's the proof?"
- "What impeachable crime exactly did Bush/Cheney commit?"
- "The Democrats are just as bad."
- "You socialist/communist/TERRORIST!" - psybo1013, on 11/17/2007, -3/+10FOX, where news.........is whatever the hell they want it to be. "Fair and Balanced" misinformation.
- duniyadnd, on 11/17/2007, -1/+8Ooops..
- chubby127, on 11/18/2007, -0/+7Abu Dhabi and Dubai aren't the same thing ppl... they're 2 different emirates within the United Arab Emirates (the country)... Neither Dubai nor Abu Dhabi are their own countries. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the country, while Dubai is the one with the world's best hotel (the Burj Al Arab) and the palm and all that stuff that you hear about. I have lived in Dubai for 6 years and every time i go to the US, either ppl don't know anything about Dubai, or they think its its own country. Just letting you know. And MrMeikel got the pronunciation right ;).
- MacEnvy, on 11/18/2007, -0/+6When your only required qualifications for your female anchors is that they're registered Republican and moderately hot, you're bound to get a few dumbasses in the mix. Or in the case of FNC and FBN, all dumbasses.
- jab26, on 11/18/2007, -0/+6apple is going to "pick one of the two" the anchor says...well, that's correct...except apple already picked intel a long time ago.
- RoamShell, on 11/18/2007, -0/+6The sarcasm is strong with this one.
buuuut because this is the internet and sarcasm can only be assumed so much: AMD is not the best anymore. Intel retook the performance throne after the Core 2 Duo, and has been ahead ever since. I apologize if you were being sarcastic. - simongzster, on 11/18/2007, -1/+7BUY BUY BUY! ...
SELL SELL SELL! - MacEnvy, on 11/18/2007, -0/+6Considering both they and you called it "Abu Dhubai", it's *very* clear that you are indeed confused by their clarification. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are different places, but both they and you don't seem to know that, and you're running them together into one name. GG.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -0/+5oh the arabs
- mchugh22, on 11/18/2007, -1/+6what do you expect from a program called "money for breakfast"
