- dblatti, on 11/27/2007, -4/+43DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS!!!
- bovox, on 11/27/2007, -2/+23Are you stupid? The news isn't that Apple is making an SDK. The news is that it is releasing the SDK to developers first, soon.
Work on your reading comprehension skills, friend. You'll have a better chance of getting into college. - johnnybluejeans, on 11/27/2007, -0/+17Really? It is basically the iPhone? Show it to me. Oh thats right, it is a platform, not a phone. Oh thats right, no phone currently uses it. Hmmm... so by your logic Google's vaporware trumps the top selling iPhone? You sound smart to me!
- tizz66, on 11/27/2007, -0/+16To be honest, I think when Google says they want to code iPhone apps, they get more than a beta SDK. They probably get a whole team of Apple devs too.
- sholt, on 11/27/2007, -0/+16IIRC, YouTube and Maps were both developed by Apple, not Google. YouTube uses the same backend services as the AppleTV, and Maps just uses the Google's published APIs.
- bradspry, on 11/27/2007, -1/+15Don't forget, part of Apple and Cisco's settlement on the iPhone name includes and agreement that "they would explore opportunities for interoperability in the areas of security and of consumer and business communications."

First on my list would be CiscoVPN. I'm sure Cisco wants VOIP too. - Ouze, on 11/27/2007, -5/+15EXCLUSIVE... to the internet! Obviously.
I would have dugg this twice if you had instead titled it AMAZING BREAKING EXCLUSIVE, and added (PIC) to the end. - inkswamp, on 11/27/2007, -1/+9&burystory() if $headline=~ m/[exclusive|breaking|amazing|ron paul|!+]/gi;
- felchdonkey, on 11/27/2007, -0/+7Sorry, you're acting as if Digg were still a tech site, where people could understand your comment. Don't you know that this is now the Ron Paul CollegeHumor Cracked.com Clearinghouse?
- h0zae, on 11/27/2007, -5/+12WOW - CHOICE DEVELOPERS TO TEST THE SDK!!!!!
/s - orph3us, on 11/27/2007, -0/+5the question is, will the sdk give developers better access to build apps than the hacked ones? I'm guessing yes, but the article makes it sound like there are a lot of restrictions being placed on the sdk.
- SirZRX, on 11/27/2007, -3/+8*leak leak*
- MacParrot, on 11/27/2007, -2/+6Maybe you should check your tires?
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -1/+5This just in...Duke Nukem Forever is the best game of 2007.
- MacParrot, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3Wouldn't that make it NSFW?
- Ksilebo, on 11/27/2007, -2/+5I've just resolved to burying every headline with "exclusive" in it.
- dvandewalle, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2would think AT&T might have troubles with allowing VOIP software to run on a device on there network, VPN would be good but VOIP will be a no go
- sambapati87, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2They probably won't give total access for fear of people getting into the phone radio, etc.
- churxx, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2The article at Electronista is wrong. They talk about Google OpenSocial, but they actually think of Google Android. This source seems not to be very reliable.
- mono, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2If one of those devs is RIM, and Blackberry for the iPhone becomes available, I'm gonna have a whole lot of salespeople knocking at my door next year.
- inactive, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Google doesn't have 'Premieres' or 'Premiums' users, that's why they are big.
- mraustin1337, on 11/27/2007, -2/+3I cannot wait for the leak.
- will-rom, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1http://www.skype.com/download/skype/mobile/
- rasterbator, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Agreed. Can't wait to try out Google Apps Premiere running on the iPhone (maybe even with Postini tools for spam and security).
- thefandango, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1you would be correct. dugg up.
- stalefries, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1OR unlocking the phone. I think that's their #1 concern. Messing with the OS/hardware is probably up there as well.
- sambapati87, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Tyr7BE's never used an iPhone...
(or Android) - LiveDesign, on 11/28/2007, -0/+0........BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

- xqb4dpx, on 11/27/2007, -1/+1once Dalvik runs on the iPhone ... [insert absolutely ridiculous statement of how happy i will be]
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -2/+1They didn't make the iPhone apps, lawl, Apple made them using their partnership and public APIs.

- wwwluckyro, on 11/27/2007, -5/+2ahaah :P
- perdurabo, on 11/27/2007, -3/+0Pay attention to definition #4. Not "exclusive" in the least, buried.

4 a: single, sole b: whole, undivided - inactive, on 11/27/2007, -9/+6It is obvious that Google has had one for a while, considering they have 2 apps on the iPhone, that is, YouTube and Google Maps. Yahoo, no doubt, probably has one as well.
- rjosal, on 11/27/2007, -6/+2If nobody knew about it for those 2 months and it was somehow now exclusive to us, then yes, but nothing on digg is exclusive. And everybody knew about it from elsewhere. The word is losing its meaning.
- rjosal, on 11/27/2007, -6/+1It's exclusive at the site, then you include us, and it's still exclusive?
- zeazzz, on 11/27/2007, -8/+3I love how almost every Digg story relating to Apple has "EXCLUSIVE" in front of the title. I mean, is it really exclusive on Digg if it is actually just linking to the "exclusive" article? I guess Apple fanboys have to shine somehow...
- 5hocker, on 11/27/2007, -15/+9how is it an exclusive when the news is 2 months old?

- Tyr7BE, on 11/27/2007, -20/+3Why is this news? Google just came out with Android. Basically the iPhone, but open source. I love how apple comes out with this overhyped underdelivering phone, and Google trumps them four months later.

What is Digg?
