- Bobbler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26You want to buy some vowels?
Got good deals on A, E, I, O and U.
I like the way you missed them out in that order too... - Slovenian6474, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9"...But there's actually a solution!"
Bitch some more. - mcphatty, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9why is it always okay to some people for apple to overcharge for things, but if microsoft or sony or any other big company does it, its such an awful thing?
- Tishiablo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7What the hell, how did you notice that?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -7/+14"Putting aside any complaints about whether or not Apple should have given people that $100 gift certificate"
They shouldnt have. - Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Because Sony or Microsoft dont have hordes of brainwashed fanboys that will buy anything with their logo stamped on it.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6because fanbois don't realize that steve jobs could give ***** about them
- migitalwarfare, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8why is he being dugg down? it's technology, you take a risk by being an early adopter, and they have every right to price things as they see fit.
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Wow... company making a profit.... on stuff the consumer wants....
OH THE HUMANITY! - rbond, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Direct Link:
https://supportform.apple.com/200709/main?id=qp - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -5/+9here is a solution - STFU about how you paid extra money to be an early adopter (AKA chump) so you could feel better than other people who weren't stupid enough to pay a 50% mark up.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4You people are SOOOO full of *****, you're all honestly acting like you we're being forced to buy an iPhone at launch, you weren't, just so you know. More likely you wanted to have the latest gadget before anyone else, and we're willing to pay through the nose to have your 15 seconds of fame. It was your choice to make, and guess what? YOU MADE IT WRONG, GET OVER IT. Jobs should charge you ***** another 100 for being the people that make everyone hate Macs & Apple (STFU, typing on my Mac Pro & own an iPod) in fact, thats a good plan. Drop the price of a high priced gadget (which everyone who has ever bought anything in their life should be aware ALWAYS ***** HAPPENS), and everyone who bitches and complains that they paid too much, those are the people that make other people hate your company.
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3No, a shock was when they missed the tape covering the heat vents on first generation macbooks lol.
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yes and he also refuses to save money by switching to Geico.
- MarkOfTheDead, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I totally want Tanks in my site too.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2its a digg glitch you ass hat ***** off
- silentex, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4I'm always amazed at what people bitch about. You buy an iPhone, Apple gives you $100 for doing so, and then you have the audacity to complain. Grow up.
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I wonder what kind of person you'll be when you grow up?
- Bobbler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Don't know, as I was reading it I saw the missing letters
Dad lets me drive slow on the driveway. But not on Monday, definitely not on Monday. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Where the hell are you banking? None of my bank accounts charge me to use my debit card.
However, Visa and Mastercard DO charge the VENDOR to accept their cards. - MedHead, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's a confidence issue. Prices drop when competition arises and when technology makes things more affordable. The competing product is usually released by a different company, or is released six months to a year by the original company. Technology costs allow prices to fall in a steady, recognizable manner.
When the competition is released by the *same company* within the space of a few months, and its price is dropped remarkably (and noticeably faster than the cost of the technology used), confidence in the company's pricing falls. It becomes obvious to the customers the higher price was merely a grab at the most loyal of fans, rather than a sensible markup over the cost of the product.
Apple's following is rather cult-like, and mikesbaker is right in mentioning that the dissatisfaction and outcry was in part due to the realization that the loyal customers mean nothing more to Steve Jobs than a source of constant income, but I think it goes beyond that, into the areas about which I wrote above. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4Like the extra $200 profit that they're tricking the stupid fanboys into accepting by giving them essentially $30 worth of credit at a very limited number of locations while laughing all the way to the bank?
Yeah, I sure see how the customer 'wants' to be screwed like that! - EBFoxbat, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I spent $100.70 on a case and a blue tooth ear piece. It cost me $0.70 on my debit card. I'm happy. Thanks Apple.
- undetected, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Tsk tsk tsk... Kids these days...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Open letter to Steve Jobs: What the *****, dude?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You crapple fans are worse than crack freaks. But your brilliant exploitation's never fails to amuse me. That $100 store credit is worth about $10 - tax in the real world.....
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -10/+11I have to say I'm amazed. Jobs basically screws over every early adopter who buys his crappy phone, drops the price $200 bucks but only gives the whiny fanboys $100 'credit' which will get them about $25 worth of actual merchandise on the over priced Apple store, and then proceeds to screw that up, also. If Microsoft pulled something like this the Gates haters would be rolling out the big guns, but if you dare to besmirch the sterling character of Stevie Jobs, why, you must be a neanderthal. What a bunch of losers. I hate fanboys of both camps, but come on people. You are taking it up the butt from Jobs, and now he is denying you the reacharound.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You're a chump for posting twice. : )
- DCstewieG, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I clicked that expecting to find a shady site and then block you. What did I get? DiggIndiaNews.com ! Wow they didn't even try to cover that one up.

http://www.trgovinca.org - cjwl, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Wasn't there a fairly recent story about someone who had a $1000+ store credit gift card from a return that became worthless ?
Sounds like Apple's gift card system is broken, either fundamentally, or prone to theft. avoid. - vandyvandy, on 01/12/2009, -0/+0Get more info about credit report for free:

- TheSolomon, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3You're complaining about how overpriced stuff in the Apple store is? After you bought an iPhone? Hmm.
- migitalwarfare, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2yes, it's a shock that apple might have missed something when they threw together the refund program to handle thousands of requests within a week.
ps, if you're going to be sarcastic about something, the least you can do is not speak like a caveman while doing it. - chobbney, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Dugg for using one of my favourite words: 'chump'
- chobbney, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Dugg for use of the word 'chump'.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -9/+5You're forgetting the couple of bucks it cost you to actually use your debit card thanks to the damn bank fees they charge whenever possible, and of course that the stuff you bought only cost apple $30, so, you just spent a few bucks to get ripped off $70 bucks. Well done.
- yomamaisfat, on 10/10/2007, -11/+7Shoplifting is always an option.
- Evoguy, on 10/10/2007, -12/+6Surprise surprise...
- shmatt, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1zybch, zybch, zybch. We all know you hate apple so you have no credibility... But why do you troll nearly every story? If you can't make a valid argument, why post at all? Please... apple made a profit and the bank charges to use the debit card?! Those BASTARDS! pfft..
- insomniac8400, on 10/10/2007, -17/+11Apple screw something up, no way!
