Digg and the Mac effect.
google.com — I'm tired of stupid zero-purpose articles hitting the front page simply because the fanbase and bad algorithm allows this. Please change it. Agree? Digg me. From now on, Digg down fanboys and mark non-news Mac articles as LAME.

- 16x9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think what you really want is for all submissions to get the "monergism stamp of approval" before anyone else is allowed to see the story. If the democratic Digg process isn't good enough for you then it's got to be a conspiracy, right?
If you don't want to read Apple related submissions then simply uncheck that option in your profile! Or is bitching just more fun? - skoober, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2buried as lame whining
- TiCooper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i kindof agree tho.. there are some very lame apple related stories that make it to the front page... for no real reason.. Take for instance that recent article on digg about Apple's main page having a new graphic on it... how is that interesting or diggable? it's just... nothing...
anyway, yes, turn off the apple content if you want, however for every bad apple related story, there is at least 1 good one, so i'll leave mine enabled.. Go democracy!- heyitsme23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1why would there be 1800 posts and 220 comments on "nothing?" For us mac users, it means something, because there have been rumors in the past that 2007 will have a lot of new stuff.
- isdereks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Marked as lame.
- williamw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ditto.
- williamw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I hope you realise that you can choose what stories show up on your homepage in your preferences, that goes for all of you that whine about this.
