- Ireland, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yeah, but that day is 10 years away, if even that soon... heck if ever. As of right now flash is too expensive to be an economically viable replacement for computer drives. 320GB of space is recommended these days, but the time 320GB of flash will be affordable 500GB or 1TB will likely be recommended.
- kevbryant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2good thing my touch doesnt have a hard drive
- Sethwm2, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1second gen 10 GB iPod still running like a champ!! I got a new battery... But that is about it. Never had an issue with a hard drive iPod before. Now that I have an iPhone I tend not to use it as much anymore...
- fanboydcs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Harddrives are very unreliable, they cause way to many problems with laptops and music players, why do companies invest so much in harddrive technology when they should be shifting their efforts for flash! There will be a day in the not so distant future were it will be cheaper to buy 60gb of flash for cheaper than 60gb of hdd...
