- jklyon, on 10/11/2007, -7/+887NOT confirmed. Let's have a talk with Apple before anyone confirms their own products.
- DaffyDuck, on 10/11/2007, -2/+404Inaccurate title.
- stealth45, on 10/11/2007, -2/+337"Reports from Taiwan suggest.." is not equal to "Confirmed."
Get it straight. - kevinmotel, on 10/11/2007, -7/+253burying as inaccurate. even as much as i would love to digg this, i'll wait for it to appear on apple.com
- totorototoro, on 10/11/2007, -1/+198Holy *****.
1) The same guy who Dugg this article already Dugg the SAME article 4 days ago.
http://digg.com/apple/Next_iPod_Just_Like_the_iPhone_But_Cheaper
2) The same guy who Dugg this article twice...also WROTE the article. LOL. I wonder if Computerworld encourages all their writers to Digg their own stuff.
Keep on Digging, dude :p - nsummy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+151A. The Title is inaccurate
B. The same story made it to the front page last week.
A story that is inaccurate and a dupe. How should i bury it? - Sal42, on 10/11/2007, -2/+86not only NOT confirmed, but NOT next month in the rumor... it says January.
- newstart, on 10/11/2007, -12/+91From this point forwards, everything made by Apple will have OSX on it. Apple Calucators, Fridges, Cars, ***** Pots....
- reservedegotist, on 10/11/2007, -4/+66Post this when it shows on Apple's website.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+61I remember a time in Digg when articles that were full of ***** were buried as innacurate, do people even read the articles?
- GenerousLinus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+45Man, I don't even read the story first anymore on stuff like this, I come straight to the comments. Fastest way to weed out the *****...
- windwaker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+38STOP POSTING ***** AS CONFIRMED JUST TO GET DIGGS
- OrangeTide, on 10/11/2007, -0/+28What's up with this, the title doesn't match any information in the article. Even if it did I am skeptical of the sources. It's just speculation and rumor, it might be correct in the end. But way too little information and too soon to say.
buried as inaccurate. - scoot87, on 10/11/2007, -0/+28Obviously this guy just wants his story to be on the front page
- baraqiyal, on 10/11/2007, -0/+25I would go with inaccurate.
- mrfreeziexp, on 10/11/2007, -3/+26I seriously doubt that such a thing will happen, next month atleast. There isn't a planned apple event next month is there? Wouldn't they send out invites really soon if there was going to be one "next month"?
- Nerfdude, on 10/11/2007, -0/+23not only is it not confirmed, but the guy who submitted the article also wrote it. what a dick.
- ThePixelator, on 10/11/2007, -4/+26You sir, are stupid.
- drafhk, on 10/11/2007, -1/+22Since when does the word "confirmed" = "suggested?"
Nothing to see here, move along folks. Keep wishing on stars and someday your dreams may come true. - cgomez, on 10/11/2007, -0/+21"Reports from Taiwan suggest that Apple may launch next month a new iPod that looks, feels and works like an iPhone, but without the phone part."
How the **** does that translate to confirmed? - mogrefy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+22Buried... what a waste of my time. These types of articles make me want to leave Digg forever. How did this ever make front page?!?!?!?!?! I think it's time to adjust the algorithm.
- thomas, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20Unless its on apple.com or it comes out of Steve Jobs mouth it isn't confirmed. Dugg Down
- TheCash, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18*Phew* now I know I can bury it as spam. I was confused about whether to bury it as inaccurate or duplicate.
Thanks :-D - MrKrinkleDude, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18Headline conflicts with article.
The article is, just like all the others, pure speculation. In other words, pulled straight out of the authors ass.
I virtually kick you in the jimmy, submitter. - bawpcwpn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17Please, please, please, bury this highly inaccurate article.
- slickfire, on 10/11/2007, -4/+20You're a douche bag.... and how the ***** did this end up on the front page?
- Ocelot13, on 10/11/2007, -4/+19also iRack, iRan...etc etc
- xShad0w, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16Boy was i disappointed when i read the article
- das7282, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15Buried because the title's inaccurate.
- Linkage155, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16I Agree, they would not be as stupid to release it right after the iphone, they will let the iphone rank up some cash first, and then release a new product, even if there is really a new product, and if it's ready.
- sv650touring, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14I heard that the iphone works in 100% of the countries in which it is sold.
- Ace75, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Mr. mikelgan, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent digg submission were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
In other words: BURIED AS INACCURATE! - tdowling, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12The submission itself should be enough for an insta-ban on Digg, but the fact that they guy wrote it himself...that's got a real high rating of *****-osity.
- DFENS, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11Anyone else starting to hate the word 'Confirmed'?
- silencerider151, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13You sir, need to learn how to make sarcasm *actually* funny.
- goodcompany, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11IRRESPONSIBLE TITLER
- cyssero, on 04/18/2009, -3/+12How very, very coincidental. Today I got an e-mail from work telling us that stock for the Apple iPod is very limited at the moment and will be for the foreseeable future. The e-mail was from the buyer for our store (I work at a large electronics retailer in Australia) and he mentioned that the last time Apple were giving us limited stock for the iPod's, a new model came out. He did mention that he has no idea if this is the case again, but it was the case last time.
I didn't think too much of it, but with this article I'm beginning to think it could be a possibility. The 5G/5.5G has been around for a while, at least for Apple standards and a new model could appear at any time.
Time to sell my 5.5G while it still has value. - Protoss, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11Actually it says AS LATE as January....but yeah, more towards January as thats when Macworld is.
- Annon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Buried as inaccurate. There is nothing "confirmed" about this report.
- bossywalker, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9FFS RTA! It states that the company has the contract for a touchscreen and, I quote, "Assuming new iPods run OS X as rumored"! How does this equate to - Confirmed -- the next iPod ships next month (and it runs OS X)! ? BURIED as inaccurate.
- jorgepblank, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Buried as inaccurate...and for scaring me :( I just got a new iPod (My 4G one broke after 2 years of use) and if this were true I'd be devastated considering how much I worked to get this.
- stealthboy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Seriously - how many times do we have to bury as inaccurate before it's taken down?
- trogdoor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8It worked.
- newstart, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Windows ***** Pots: "Flush wont work"
OSX ***** Pots: "Beautiful Flushing action synchronized with your body, and you brag about it"
Linux ***** Pots: "You just installed the latest GNOME Flush system, and now you try to convert every other flush owner"
BONUS: iPhone ***** Pot: "First ***** pot without the flushing handle, you swipe your finger on the lower sufrace of the pot in order to flush" - tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -1/+9As lame.
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8this sort of thing doesn't usually get to me, but Jesus tap-dancing Christ...when I read the first line that said "Reports from Taiwan SUGGEST that Apple may..." (emphasis mine) my blood boiled.
"Reports Suggest" != confirmed - eddiddiums, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Can I bury something twice?
- Ace75, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Why are people digging this?!
Do people just digg on the submission title alone? Does no one actually click any of the links, or god forbid - RTFA? - leowatson, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7How the hell is this confirmed?

What is Digg?
