- destro713, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Wow! Let me get this straight. So this new device brings your battery "back to life"... by replacing it with some nasty looking external clip-on battery that's exactly the same as several competing products that have been out for years? Sweet! At $74 I can't afford not to have one!
Also, I heard of this new product that should be announced in the coming weeks, and -- get this -- it's a LEATHER case for your iPod. Now you can carry your iPod in style. Only costs $85. - Speedy7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I would rather buy the wind-up chargers and get unlimited battery life...
- Speedy7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4How about bringing my dead relatives back to life?
- chingy1788, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2basically get a 5V + source, a Female USB Plug a 5V regulator, hook it up together and voila
they actually sell AA USB chargers for like $7AUD (jaycar electronics), though not on the site, its in the catalogue
you can use this to charge many things not just an ipod
such as other mp3 players
Nintendo DS, Sony PSP
some Mobile phones can be charged through usb
I think the PS3 wireless controller can be charged by this means
I spose its possible to scale it up and use it as an external battery for laptops (in which i will attempt to do some time) - allaboutdatiki, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2$72.77 for a battery. Yum.
- directsun, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I read the title and thought it was some kind of neat trick. It's just an external battery.
- MikeonTV, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Wow this is amazing. I mean I would have just thrown the damn thing out...what a secret we have hear guys. Apple looks like suckers now!

there you are, there's a cheap DIY version, there are more efficient versions around though, but I think this is easiest - burstaneurysm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is dumb... it's an external battery pack - for $75. You can buy a brand new internal iPod battery for under 30 bucks.
Not to mention that this is just a ***** commercial. - luke16, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The battery shouldn't die in the first place.
But on another note, my 1st gen ipod mini still had 5 hours battery life, maybe more - flashboy131, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1your english ***** me up
- ThreeDee912, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Mark this as spam. The rest of the site is well-worded spam. There are links to scam sites where you "can get all the information you need to reset your iPod for only $14.77!" and other crap like that. Even the website name is fishy. ipodnanobattery.wordpress.com?
- chrisfix, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I'd rather buy 100 dollars of useless cotton balls that i can swim in like money than buy that.
- pltnz64, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Pet Sematary?
- tower31, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1I don't mind spends a few bucks not to have to play with ***** that can ***** you up....
