- goldentofu, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4Google Gears + Google Reader native iPhone app for the win!! That's my dream, anyways: offline RSS feed reading on my iPhone.
- Yebot, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2The older version of Google Reader lets you bookmark the list of feeds. This new version does not.
FAIL. - Pixelpaws, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3Though they claim it'll work with any advanced mobile browser, it won't work in IE under Windows Mobile 6. So for those of us with "smart" phones other than the iPhone, it looks like this is pretty hit and miss.
- ookees, on 06/24/2008, -0/+1I totally agree with you, I hate that I have to go through the menus to get to my particular folder that holds all my RSS feeds. I posted a message on the google reader discussion groups about this, hopefully they will take it into considerations and add a settings feature that allows u to default to a particular start page.
here is the link to the discussion, if we get enough people complaining about it maybe they will fix it.

Not one complaint that this new version doesn't seem to offer autoscaling of the images to fit the iPhone window width (the way the older version did.) To make matters worse, it's not possible to scroll the images horizontally to see the full view, which bleeds off the right window boundary. Yes, I can use the magic accelerometer to autorotate the image into widescreen, but the same limitations remain... no scaling, no scrolling... images are still clipped.
- Wavecritter, on 05/14/2008, -1/+1The brilliance of Google yet again :)
- fernando20, on 05/13/2008, -0/+0Also works on the S60 browser.
lol PIE - inactive, on 05/13/2008, -1/+1I love this!
- palta38, on 05/13/2008, -1/+1works fine for me in opera mini
- jamescarlos, on 12/02/2008, -1/+1Thanks Google for helping me read more!
- funnyboy88, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1I feel like Google puts up a new iPhone reader every other month.
- natejc, on 05/28/2008, -0/+0I have so many feeds, I often mark them read based on the title without even reading them. I would much rather be able to mark an item as read from the list view over being able to star them. Otherwise, pretty sweet.
- clicknathan, on 05/20/2008, -0/+0I'd really like to have a way to leave notes and unsubscribe from feeds, though the ability to see read items is a much welcomed addition.
- natejc, on 05/28/2008, -0/+0IE causes the world so many problems now days anyway. There are so many better options...
- weloveit, on 05/25/2008, -0/+0Works nicely on the Nokia N800 too.
- ninedays, on 06/04/2008, -0/+0Very good new version of Google Reader on iPhone!
Love it easier to use. I need to test it more on the outside but it seems lovely ;) - merowinger09, on 06/03/2008, -0/+0There is already a really cool native Feeds app for the iPhone - check it out at 424f.com
- nextsteposx, on 05/13/2008, -2/+1I star more stories on Google reader than Digg them...
Sad but I dont Digg as must since using Google reader. - jon159785, on 05/13/2008, -2/+1^patiently waiting for a blackberry version.
- carmodyarc, on 05/13/2008, -2/+0Other than the gawd-awful Ajax loading gif this is a great update. Could use some tag browsing too, but I'm satisfied for now.
Thanks Google... but please change that damn gif! - hotplug, on 05/13/2008, -2/+0Nice, expect there's not tags browsing.
- drewolanoff, on 06/10/2008, -5/+2We added this to ReadBurner's mobile site! http://m.readburner.com
- goldentofu, on 05/13/2008, -4/+1Think how fast it's gonna load on the 3G Mac Tablet!
