Bonjour doesn't really do anything she's describing, it only allows you to easily broadcast what services something has and discover services on another device. Bonjour itself doesn't do any network transfer of pictures lie she's sort of implying. It just makes it easy for your computer to connect to the iPhone because the iPhone is saying "Hey, I have a service on port 540 called pictures_service".
