Stop doing dollar to euro / pound conversions. You have to include costs for local taxes, import/export, local markets, local wages standards, etc etc etc Please consult a 1st grade teacher in economics and ask them why prices for the same product differ per country before posting rubbish like this. - OS2Guy, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Well, we could buy a copy for you here in the states and send it over - but would you want it? It would be the American version and then you'd complain like hell because everything was so "American"! Get over it!
- abrooks, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Two things, VAT and business taxation.
- tadunne, on 10/16/2007, -0/+1Actually it's more like 10 pounds as uk price includes VAT the us price does not.
- ccisystems, on 10/17/2007, -0/+0Steve DID say 'everyone' no?
- garysims, on 10/16/2007, -1/+0As far as I know there isn't a difference between the "American" version and the "UK" version, the languages and local variations are all built into the same version of OS X. So hey, why don't you send me the extra $40 which I have to pay for the UK version and I will "Get over it!"
