- Mike.ohara, on 10/15/2008, -0/+1Though, wouldn't mind hdmi - and with the nvidia chips its not like they cant support it. and how many usb ports do you need? Blueray - I could take it or leave it. Glossy screen does have its advantages, but outdoors is not one of them. - Mouse button... I'd have to see one in action to see how they are adapting the interface to do without one. - If it really bugs you that much, there are some very good mice on the market you can plug in or use via bluetooth. - and besides, if you do anything serious with any machine, a decent mouse is a requirement anyway
Name any brand name PC laptop that offers anything close to dual gpu/SLI for a better price point.
Also, fingerprint readers are a gimmick (I should know, my laptop has one, lol) - handmadewallaby, on 10/14/2008, -1/+2Looks like the buttonless glass trackpad was not a load of BS after all.
- Delphian, on 10/14/2008, -2/+2No HDMI. No BluRay. No 10-key numeric keypad (even though there is space for it). Not quite enough USB ports. No fingerprint reader. No TV tuner. Glossy screen (aka "looks terrible outside"). And they forgot the mouse button. All for $2,800. Apple laptops have jumped the shark. There is no way to justify purchasing such a device outside of brand loyalty.
