- Schelske, on 07/11/2008, -0/+2Loaded the "unofficial release" yesterday. It was a flawless - if lengthy - process. Have your mac updated to latest updates, have iTunes updated to latest, and be working with a non-jailbroken or hacked phone and this will work - so long as you don't interrupt the very lengthy process.
- isaaccs, on 07/11/2008, -0/+2It would seem Apple's servers are overloaded with update requests. Firmware update downloaded and installed, but no access to the phone once its rebooted back into itunes. Connection to iTunes store is timing out (though the purchase side of itunes is working fine, grrr).
iTunes 7.7 was also unavailable for download from Apple for several hours this morning, as I attempted to reinstall to correct the problem. - antipoet, on 07/11/2008, -0/+2My phone too. I thought bricking was only for unofficial updates.
