Apple pushing for ringback tones, 3G wireless music sales
electronista.com — Apple is hoping for a "big launch" in mobile music to go with the 3G iPhone, say sources at music labels. Besides expanding the number of songs that work as ringtones, the company allegedly wants ringback tones that play in place of the typical dial tone. Apple is also looking to allow downloads directly over the cellular network.
