- wukillabee, on 06/12/2008, -10/+130a virus will kill steve jobs, how ironic
- SteveIsTheDude, on 06/12/2008, -5/+78Can't he just use Time Machine to take him back to the time before he got the virus?
- imightbewrong, on 06/12/2008, -1/+63Macbook Air, iPhone.... I think Steve Jobs has taken Apple's obsession with thin too seriously
- fragile00, on 06/12/2008, -3/+63I hope he bought AppleCare.
- GorfTron, on 06/12/2008, -2/+51Every year, he seems to look a year older.
- inactive, on 06/11/2008, -2/+49Not sure wtf Ars is talking about. It can't be denied that he looked very unhealthy from the second he stepped on stage. I hope everything is cool though.
- efitz11, on 06/12/2008, -4/+45no viruses my ass
- zwendkos, on 06/12/2008, -2/+35if this was the ceo of state farm no one would give a *****....
- Mootabolife, on 06/12/2008, -2/+33A poison apple even. That's the reason the logo has only one bite out of it.
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -2/+18He eats what is called the iMeal. It is only .3mm tall and you consume it with a straw.
Here is a pic http://i30.tinypic.com/2mql2wy.jpg - mntbikeracer1, on 06/12/2008, -0/+14Looks like he lost 15-20 pounds, no "common" bug does that.
- DreKor, on 06/12/2008, -1/+15Raise your hand if you had never heard of some of those veggies. Some people really need to eat some bacon.
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -1/+14I see Steve's on video/pictures like 3 - 4 times a year. I did notice he looked skinny comparing to what he was during his presentation.
- Me1000, on 06/12/2008, -1/+12Universal AppleCare for all!!!
- sbluetruck, on 06/12/2008, -1/+11how about an apple a day keeps the doctor away?
- jakatak, on 06/12/2008, -4/+13Wow. That is so weird. I totally saw him and was blown away on how old and skinny he looked. I just brushed it off thinking I hadn't seen him in a while. I didn't think an more of it until this post. :-(
- inactive, on 06/12/2008, -1/+10I did notice he was looking a little older than last time I saw him do a keynote.
- Coolmatt49, on 06/12/2008, -0/+9He HAD cancer. They were, fortunately, able to remove it. This was a couple years ago.
- j.carcinogen, on 06/12/2008, -1/+9He had pancreatic cancer before and it is one of the most grim forms of cancer that there is.
- amawg9, on 06/12/2008, -1/+9He had cancer and people are worried that it might be back.
- joolsca, on 06/12/2008, -2/+10He looked strikingly gaunt and anyone who didn't notice is incredibly unobservant.
- jr93087, on 06/12/2008, -2/+9so is this Blaster we're talking about or what...
- freqk, on 06/12/2008, -1/+8funny, yet poorly executed.
i dugg you up anyway. :) - sims5487, on 06/12/2008, -0/+7It matters to investors, who have quite a lot on the line regarding the company and where it should go should something happen to Jobs. (Don't forget, the man had cancer and didn't tell anybody about it for a while.)
Cold and callous? Perhaps. But it is the truth. People who have money in the company want to know what's up with him. - dark1587, on 06/12/2008, -0/+7It's not his health I'm worried about; it's the mental state that keeps me up at night. Silly AT&T and their subisidizing of the iPhone...
- Mootabolife, on 06/12/2008, -0/+7It's 1AM, give me a break :-).
- mparker7410, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6Master of subtle humor.
- solid12345, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6Europeans eat plenty of meat and use lots of dairy products and remain skinny, it is not what you eat but how you eat.
- aussieNickuss, on 06/12/2008, -1/+7Look at this photo from Januaries MacWorld http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/54/Stev ... . He's lost a lot of weight since then. A "common virus" wouldn't cause that. There's something they're not telling us!
- newbill123, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6Even if this was a major Hollywood star, his anorexic looks would only make the pages of National Enquirer and other scandal rags.
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 06/12/2008, -1/+7The Woz!

http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2006/09/ ... - Mootabolife, on 06/12/2008, -2/+8Here.. I'll fix it real quick..
Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computers Inc. was found dead on the living room floor of his vista, found with chairs seemingly thrown around in anger dotting his room. Right outside were found the remains of an apple with a single bite mark later found to be infected by deadly worms. Jobs' maid claims she showed up for work only to see Jobs' lifeless body through the broken windows later determined to be caused by Jobs' own hands.
"I think he was trying to send us a message in his last moments.. maybe about who killed him," said his maid upon further questioning. Jobs' iPhone, which was missing from the scene of the crime, was later found in the possession of a gaunt African child by the name of Nidi near to where a notable aid foundation run by Bill and Melinda Gates was stationed. Microsoft has since declined to make any comments regarding the untimely demise of Mr. Jobs. There are currently no suspects. Who killed Steve Jobs?
Happy now? You have a mystery to solve now too. - pilot3033, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6Januaries?
January's - r00tus3r, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6Honestly, every time I think the comments on digg can't shock me, something like this happens. Could you guys be any more callous? I'm not a big apple fan, but I hope he's ok, and I wish him the best.
- ChrisDent, on 06/12/2008, -0/+6It's not a bug -- it's an undocumented feature
- USB2point0, on 06/12/2008, -0/+5yeah, he really didn't look well, or sound.
That guy needs some serious rest and time away from Apple and some time without ANY gadgets. - TheAssuager, on 06/12/2008, -2/+7Who would (could) take over apple? man that's a wild thought...
- lastword2, on 06/12/2008, -1/+6he was looking like Jean Luc Picard, but older
- mparker7410, on 06/12/2008, -0/+5LOL! "Some people really need to eat some bacon."
Going to need to find a situation in real life where I can say this. - HouseofEl, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4His health has a direct connection to the company, more specifically the stock. Prices can rise and fall depending on the health of the CEO. When the head of a company is linked to its success as is with Jobs and Apple, people want to know.
I thought he looked ill. A "common bug" doesn't make you drop weight like that. But a workaholic could make it happen I'm sure. - rodrigo74, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4So you lose a genius designer and get a regular CEO? Great Idea!
Leave Ive doing what´s he´s good at, please. - herval, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4cancer usually returns in other forms, once 'removed'.
Specially the 'rare and non-removable kind', like he had... - peestandingup, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4Except that he had a rare form of it thats non-fatal.
- doublsh0t, on 06/12/2008, -2/+6maybe there is a worm digging around inside somewhere
- slayerab, on 06/12/2008, -8/+12He's not dying, he just eats like a rabbit
- laelfrog, on 06/12/2008, -1/+5Don't rabbits get fat and consequently eaten by hobbits?
- fluidfoundation, on 06/11/2008, -5/+9You may want to take a look at Apple's history.
- sambapati87, on 06/12/2008, -1/+5"ZOMG STEVE LOOKS OLDER THAN HE DID AT LAST YEARS WWDC"...
- thorbeast, on 06/12/2008, -6/+10Uh, hello. He's a vegetarian. No wonder he looks sick. He's not getting enough the proteins and amino acids, etc that humans need to live. Idiot.
