  • Anth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I did pair the remote to my AppleTV under the settings menu. It still operated both the Macbook and AppleTV. I dont have my original Macbook remote if I need to pair it with my Macbook to get it to stop listening to the remote from the AppleTV.
  • allanpat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Although it's probably a valid point that many consumers will be annoyed that the apple remote will control both Apple TV & Macbooks simultaneously if they're both in range, it amazes me that a writer for an online tech magazine doesn't know that you can pair an apple remote to the specific machine you're using it on.
