- phore, on 07/29/2008, -0/+3You'd think they'd spam us with a product that actually worked.
Apple really needs to rethink their strategy. People who buy their products tend to not like being spammed. I enjoyed my Macbook out of the box since it didn't come with any bloatware. - FredFredrickson, on 07/30/2008, -0/+2The bigger they get, the worse they'll get.
- MacParrot, on 07/29/2008, -0/+2As long as it truly DOESN'T return after clicking no thanks I don't see the harm. Apple has been spanked before about its "opt-out" nonsense when Windows users used Software Update.

- totorototoro, on 07/29/2008, -0/+1Weird, when does this show up? During the interminable "backing up iPhone" stage? Or the syncing Contacts, etc. stage? I honestly haven't noticed it. Yet. Do you need the Mini-Store activated?
- pyrates, on 07/29/2008, -1/+1Apparently it does keep asking you to sign up when you click no thanks. A comment from the article:

I've gotten it a few times, so it's not just a one time annoyance in my experience. What makes it all the more offensive, is that I ALREADY have a .Mac--oops, I mean MobileMe--subscription. Shouldn't my computer know this???
