- furtwan1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6blah, blah, apple, blah, google, blah...that's all I see on digg these days.
- skyfex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If it doesn't reach front page it's because it's a load of crap. Customer service is ALWAYS a mixed experienced. I've had nothing but good experience with my Powerbook and iPod, but I've heard of people with awful experiences. The same goes for Dell and probably any other technology company for that matter. If we're going to be critical to Apple, be so for the right reasons (DRM for instance), and don't look like a fool.
- Nodscene, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Nothing like actually reading the article.....
"I filled out my paperwork, submitted everything with time to spare."
Not only that but 2 more dumbasses gave him a thumbs up. - tokachu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4The blogger owned a broken 3G iPod for well over a year. He/she knew all about the settlement, and yet he neglected to file the papers to get reimbursed by Apple on time. Do you really expect me to have any sympathy for this Johnny-come-lately?
Unless this guy succeeds in getting settlement money from antitrust suits from the 19th century, no digg. Slowpoke. - Macattack15, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1To me it seems this article was blaming the law firm, but trying to be anti-apple at the same time, I submitted those iPod settlement papers knowing full well i would probably never get any money from it.
- Godric, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The rechargeable battery on your consumer electronic good lost its ability to hold a charge? Shocking. If you didn't know this was going to happen, you need to do more research the next time you plunk down hundreds of dollars for a lifestyle gadget. I really like Apple's stuff but I haven't bought an iPod because I know it's a pain to replace the battery.
- canyadiggit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0From what I understand, the new iPod batteries last for far more than 18 months, which was the poor life-expectancy of these defunct models.
- canyadiggit, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1From the blog:
"I filled out my paperwork, submitted everything with time to spare."
Perhaps he owned the iPod before the settlement was filed? - benitojuarez, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5of course this will never make the front page since this site is quickly turning into a haven for apple fanboys.
