- OS2Guy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Before you publish please learn to read/write English. The article is so full of mistakes, bad grammar and spelling errors that it makes no sense. People want so bad to be seen and read yet they themselves can't read or write.
- KevMacLeod, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This isn't accurate. Buried as such.
- imsobored151, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1how can att/apple send an update through at&t and get it to other iphones that dont use att
- Girrelephants, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Yes, I understand that their was also an update to 1.1.1 that was not OTA. In order to receive that update you did have to download an update to iTunes, and then you could receive update 1.1.1 which primarily just added the iTunes store and the ability to double click the home button to get to the iPod, or favorite contacts. This OTA update was a previous update from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2, and did not add any new features at all (unless it was some security fix or something).
If you read the whole thing, I did mention that this is something done over WI-Fi, NOT EDGE. Therefore, it is possible for non AT&T customers like myself to receive the update.

I am not sure what exactly is the problem in my sentence structure.
To everyone, I see how you are confused, until I called Apple, I did not even know that the iTunes store for the iPhone was already out as iTunes said I had the latest firmware every time I checked for an update.
