Apple MacBook Spontaneous Shutdown Issue Resolved

thetechlounge.com — In my initial review of the MacBook 13-inch 1.83GHz about two months ago, I suffered from the dreaded spontaneous shutdown syndrome that seemed to plague early adopters like myself. While my first tech support experience, as documented in my review, was great, the second wasn't so. But alas, the issue has finally been resolved.

And his recommendation to hold off on purchasing a MacBook until the new one is released is not without merit. Sure, technology changes, but nobody wants to buy something which will be replaced in 3 months or less. A year, sure, we should all expect that, but 3 months? Get a clue, pal.

    Still, I’m not completely ready to recommend the Apple MacBook, but it’s not for any quality issue – it’s due to the fact that they’re going to be updated within the next three months or so. "

    That's about as helpful as a kick in the nuts.

    a) It's one man's MacBook issue, not a solution to the overall issue.
    b) Don't buy because it's going to be updated in three months? Welcome to the world of computers!
