- TTLKurtis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That was a pretty worthless comment... Would you prefer that Anthony make something up about why the MacBook was having problems? And his recommendation to hold off on purchasing a MacBook until the new one is released is not without merit. Sure, technology changes, but nobody wants to buy something which will be replaced in 3 months or less. A year, sure, we should all expect that, but 3 months? Get a clue, pal.
- guytoronto, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"As for what the actual problem was that caused my spontaneous shutdowns, there have been several theories. Apple hasn’t officially said what the problem is, and I don’t suspect we’ll find out any time soon.
Still, I’m not completely ready to recommend the Apple MacBook, but it’s not for any quality issue – it’s due to the fact that they’re going to be updated within the next three months or so. "
That's about as helpful as a kick in the nuts.
a) It's one man's MacBook issue, not a solution to the overall issue.
b) Don't buy because it's going to be updated in three months? Welcome to the world of computers!
