- FluffyArmada, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well... I think most GUI designers that make OS X apps work with Interface Builder... I've never created a GUI in Photoshop before...
- ahill7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Gasp! Someone faked a "leaked" image of an unreleased Apple product! /sarcasm
No surprise on this one, at least someone called the bluff with a little gusto and evidence. - MahRain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, when Pages came out, the comment "Apple was a bit lazy" was heared because Pages recycles quite a lot of Keynote interface and workflow elements. If Apple were to add a spreadsheet, IMHO the same procedure would apply. So an Apple spreadsheet could very well look a lot like Pages / Keynote.
I just hope it'll be possible to just work on an empty sheet, and not add separate 'tables' for everything! - wesleyhargrove, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1surprise surprise.
- DaffyDuck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What a surprise! I was so sure it was the real deal!

What application do you think most GUI designers use to begin with? With enough attention to detail, you can recreate any application in Photoshop.
- foxymcfox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I hope Danny Bonaduce finds you...
- crahan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ok, let's assume the devs start with the Pages or Keynote codebase and reuse some elements for the new spreadsheet application. Wouldn't you think they'd at least reuse the thumbnail creation code? Wouldn't you expect the sheet thumbnail in the left sidebar to be an actual representation of the full image to the right?
Also, having a table as an object on a page in Keynote or Pages is logical, but a table as an object on a sheet? Isn't the whole concept of a spreadsheet based around it's core element being a page-size table? Why would you have a blank page with no cells in a spreadsheet and force the user to manually create his own table objects? - benguild, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Works for me.
- digginestdogg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0That's just unfortunate if true. Microsoft needs competitive pressure to keep them leaning towards open document formats--otherwise we're all their 'bitches'.

- MasterChi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I don't think Bush is even smart enough to know what Apple is so I highly doubt he created this fake. :S
