- DaffyDuck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Is this subject really worthy of a rant? Oh yeah, of course it is when ad money is involved. I can only hope nobody diggs this stupid attention grabbing ploy. Anyway, you didn't even specify any problems of the keyboard design other than it somewhat resembles the design of a product made 20ish years ago.
"Those things were so chep (SIC) to manufacture because they didn’t need to spend money on springs and other mechanics in those keyboards."
There are springs under the keys on the MacBook, or perhaps you think tiny balloons or Nerf balls are responsible for pushing the keys back upwards after depression.
"Tandy soon jumped back to regular sized keys with the CoCo II and CoCo III."
The keys on the MacBook are regular sized. How about listing some real issues with the MacBook in a rant about the MacBook.
"One can draw a conclusion with this new Apple design…they are losing money and getting a sinking feeling in their stomachs"
Have you seen the recent earnings reports? Apparently you missed that. - LeeHarvey8, on 10/20/2008, -0/+2The number of Mac books sold only shows how many Macintards are out there. That's it. It doesn't make it any better.
Ok, Macs are beautiful ...but with the crappy tech support, impossible self repair, and complicated warrantee *****... they are no better than the Timex Sinclair 1000.
I don't like typing on chicklets.
Chicklets are yummy. - archurban, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2idiot. it's not matter. just look at the fact how many macbooks have been sold so far. unlikely you mentioned, keyboard is very optimized for typing. why Apple worry about MS, Dell? just focus on one. why do you suddenly mention ipod? please, don't blog this of *****. no point.
