- tomanthony, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is why they offer AppleCare. I understand it's frustrating but as someone who works for Apple and always recommends AppleCare, I can't help but say told you so.
- g1nsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, I have talked to applecare. The tech had me reset the PRam, which didn't work. He then noted that I'm am beyond my one year warranty and that I didn't purchase the extended applecare warranty. Both true. I made my choice and did not purchase an extended warranty. So, I don't expect Apple to pay for the repairs. I'm just trying to get the word out about the problem. Although, I did kind of expect my $3200 computer to last longer than a year and a few months without needing major repair.
