3. iPod nano (2nd gen?)
4. iPod touch
And after each of these promotions, the model has either been discontinued or upgraded very shortly after.

- aresef, on 06/03/2008, -1/+15I was planning to grab a MacBook this summer, because the $100 student discount is pretty nice. This, and the Adobe CS deal that's been up for a while (buy a Mac and any Adobe CS software at Academic pricing, get another $300ish off) is icing on the cake.

Throw in the fact you get a free or reduced price MP3 player (a damn nice one, though I'm judging it's capabilities based on the experience with my iPhone, which is basically similar) to solve your other problem, and boom, you're good to go for school.
Trust me, you won't regret the decision, and should you not like OS X you can just use it as a regular Windows machine as well. Not only would you get the rebate, but you'd get to take advantage of the crappy dollar as well. (It seems like the majority of people in the NYC apple stores are all European these days, so you wouldn't be the only one.)
