- imsobored151, on 12/16/2008, -0/+33im confused as to why this deserves a smiley face at the end
- iRyan360, on 12/17/2008, -0/+24First we lose Macworld, then we lose christmas... NOOOOO!
- bdsams, on 12/17/2008, -0/+14whats next Apple, kicking puppies? Drowning kittens? WHY DO YOU MOCK US?
- MrSkills, on 12/16/2008, -0/+8It's a sad face. But he's got eyes on his chin.
- OmarJasso, on 12/16/2008, -3/+10Why don't I just blow the brains out of the back of my skull right now?
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -3/+10Link direct from APPLE: http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2008/12/16macworld ...
- redeemed77, on 12/17/2008, -3/+10Why so serious?
- piano08man, on 12/17/2008, -3/+8It's only "cancelled" if you're British, Moron. Americans are correct in spelling it that way. Don't be so self-centered.
- PPCG4, on 12/17/2008, -0/+4:o really?!!?
- nerioinvisible, on 12/16/2008, -0/+4yeah I'm confused too.. why a smiley face?
- rbeschizza, on 12/17/2008, -1/+5Canceled is fine, it's U.S. English. In fact, it's the AP's preferred spelling, which would make it the default choice for a U.S. press release.
- PrairieDoggin, on 12/17/2008, -0/+4Jesus isn't going to be happy about this.
- BoneStamp, on 12/17/2008, -0/+4For those confused, ^ link is the original that the submission parodies.
- ijustine, on 12/17/2008, -0/+3haha, so sad
- BoneStamp, on 12/17/2008, -0/+3@habbofresh
wow. chill.
It was meant for those confused by PersonalJesus' "link direct from APPLE" being different than the submission, not for those confused about the legitimacy of the submission. Obviously it's fake, some people might not know that it is almost identical to the other press release though. - dizzy113, on 12/16/2008, -0/+3I'm going to wait for stock market open tomorrow before I pull the trigger
- OmarJasso, on 12/17/2008, -0/+3Oh, goody!
I was gettin' all riled up about the situation, thanks for clearin that one up, old chap! :D - borez, on 12/17/2008, -0/+2You don't say?
- chuckiej, on 12/17/2008, -2/+4Yep Firefox spell check says it is canceled.
- kaytrio, on 12/17/2008, -1/+3This is how I felt. Why, Steve, why?
- skipclub, on 12/17/2008, -0/+1:( no fun... i want my christmas back!
- PPCG4, on 12/22/2008, -0/+1You are so damn sly.
- lestyoubejudged, on 12/17/2008, -0/+1Well if you don't need Christmas to sell your stuff why have it? Oh yeah it isn't about the stuff, I almost forgot.
- antbs, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1yay, it's an iJustine! Funny to see you while trolling Digg. :P (@antbs)
- mathcreative, on 12/19/2008, -0/+1 I am serious I actually didn't read the web page or the title. I just quickly clicked the link, and quickly noticed that the webpage wasn't from apple, and reported it without thinking.
- Zuwxiv, on 12/21/2008, -0/+1REDMOND, Washington -December 17, 2008 - Microsoft® today announced that this is the first year for Micromas. Steve Balmer, Microsoft Corporation's CEO spoke at a joint press conference held with Speed Stick at the Gates of Hell, where he announced: "Developers developers developers developers developers."
- BrendanSheehan, on 12/17/2008, -1/+2Yeah sure after all, it's only their language, what would they know about "their own" language?
- mathcreative, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1yep! :)
- t0ny, on 12/17/2008, -1/+1I get chocolate easter bunnies and those marshmallow chicks and thats about it. :(
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -1/+1There's always WWDC… and Easter.
You get presents on Easter, right? - AFelsinger, on 12/17/2008, -2/+2What was wrong with the title on the site?
- secretmrx, on 12/17/2008, -1/+1It's one thing for Steve not to speak, but to call off all future Macworld keynotes after this one is just overreacting on Apple's part.
I think Apple are just taking it too far... Also, great timing to stop their largest media event right in the middle of a recession. - habbofresh, on 12/17/2008, -2/+2YOU MEAN THE SUBMITTED PAGE IS FAKE?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!
- notpolitical, on 12/17/2008, -1/+1Just an example of another U.S. company caving into political correctness and anti-Christian rhetoric.
- TrafficGuy, on 12/17/2008, -1/+1I thought this was the spelling preferred by MS. I've noticed that cancelled is one of several words that MS Office suggests have only one consonant when appending a suffix.
- BoneStamp, on 12/17/2008, -4/+3Lots of domains are intentionally registered with spelling mistakes and they make lots of money.
- 1town, on 12/17/2008, -3/+1I'm confused as to why this deserves the diggs it has recieved. ¬¬
- dizzy113, on 12/16/2008, -5/+3It doesn't...it was supposed to be a :( but I was doing like 8 things at once and digg doesn't let you fix *****... Oh well
- bdsams, on 12/17/2008, -4/+2apple better not cancel my iPorn
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -12/+9HAHAHA
you registered a domain with a spelling mistake in it, idiot!
The word is "cancelled", not "canceled". - samirms, on 12/17/2008, -5/+1I dont get it.
- mathcreative, on 12/16/2008, -11/+1We got the equivalent of a rickroll. The webpage is a fake.

What is Digg?
