- masterkenobi, on 10/28/2008, -4/+186Porn does not discriminate across OS's. It is the bridge and the common interest and desire amongst all PC/Mac/Linux users alike.
With either left hand or right, porn brings us all together. - ToastPop, on 04/17/2009, -6/+101The site is dying. What is Codeweavers and is there anything worthwhile I should be grabbing?
- FatLoser, on 10/28/2008, -6/+97somebody save me the trouble and just tell me does this get porn on my computer fast?
- vivalanation734, on 10/27/2008, -3/+78Yay!!!!!! This is going to be awesome.
Thanks Codeweaver! - Thepack1138, on 10/28/2008, -13/+85Thank you Bush for giving me this for free! All it took was the most devastating American financial collapse since the Great Depression.
- kazamx, on 10/27/2008, -2/+67This needs to hit the front page as fast as possible so as many people know about it as possible.
- spriggig, on 10/28/2008, -1/+62Ain't got a Mac but dugg for keeping his word.
- GumGuts, on 10/28/2008, -6/+66There servers and gas prices have a lot in common
- jparshall, on 10/28/2008, -0/+60I had no idea that we enhanced the porn experience. Ya learn something new every day.

CodeWeavers - sockpuppets, on 10/28/2008, -1/+52You do if you want to retain the respect of your crew and parrot.
- masterkenobi, on 10/28/2008, -8/+54There are people that play games, then there are gamers. The latter (like myself) still prefer a custom built box, sorry.
- BossKey, on 10/28/2008, -1/+47Or it needs to not hit the front page so that we'll actually have a chance of completing our downloads before the 24 hours are up...
- wastern, on 10/28/2008, -0/+43I don't really need it for anything, but it won't hurt to have it around just in case.
- upeneff, on 10/28/2008, -0/+34Did they submit this to digg so no one would be able to get through to their server?
Does anyone know if all we have to do is register, or do we have to get through all the way to downloading. Since i think getting the download will be difficult. - diemunkiesdie, on 10/28/2008, -0/+34Get the serial here: http://lameduck.codeweavers.com/free/

you didn't need to bust the server like that... - jparshall, on 10/28/2008, -0/+30We're, ummmm, having server problems, as you may have noticed. We took down our main site and replaced it with a static page. Everything was fine until about 7:45AM (CST), but then it's gone belly up. We're working on it. Feverishly, even. Our sysadmin has been up all night, and believe you me, he's got the knives out for whatever idiot in Marketing thought this stunt up. Oh, wait; that's me! Bottom line; we'll get it fixed.

- RMoore08, on 10/28/2008, -4/+31--DDDDDDDDDDGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE CCCCCCAAAAAKKKKKKKKEEEEE
- inactive, on 10/28/2008, -10/+36The economic crisis was set to happen before Bush ever became President.
- goofygarber, on 10/28/2008, -10/+35You're an idiot.
- metalgel, on 10/28/2008, -0/+25Huh, the Internet King? I wonder if he can provide faster nudity.
- Sintu, on 10/28/2008, -0/+24You might have to pirate it after all, the servers are getting quite overloaded
- masterkenobi, on 10/28/2008, -5/+28Yes, and my "schwartz" can play Crysis. Very well, in fact.
- Urza_the_Tyrant, on 10/28/2008, -1/+23Windows users don't need an emulation layer to run Windows applications?
Good work Sherlock. - internetboy, on 10/28/2008, -2/+24Direct Link http://lameduck.codeweavers.com/free/ (very slow)
- SPECOPS, on 10/28/2008, -0/+21RTFA, dumb ass - Its for either Mac or Linux.

- sandeepg, on 10/28/2008, -2/+23Political mimbo-jumbo? Huh?
Lemme at the shiny, free software. - GoldenChaos, on 10/27/2008, -20/+41Awesome. I just got Games through TrialPay, but it looks like I can get the whole lineup now. This will definitely enable more Mac users to feel more comfortable making the switch, and making it free will ease the souls of Mac gamers everywhere who don't want to dual-boot. Yes, Mac gamers do exist - and I, personally, would rather never have to waste my precious hard drive space with a Windows installation when Crossover will do it wonderfully in a few megabytes, and now for free.
- flxfxp, on 10/28/2008, -0/+20Nice to see you're actually on Digg :)
- sockpuppets, on 10/28/2008, -1/+21Then your computer explodes.
- rocksndirt3, on 10/28/2008, -5/+24FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--

CodeWeavers - lyzz, on 10/28/2008, -0/+16Since you're getting dugg up and noone is responding:
Codeweavers makes a commercial version of WINE. The goal is to run software intended for Windows on a non-Windows platform. I've been running Microsoft Office 2000 on Linux for quite some time successfully with their software. - jparshall, on 10/28/2008, -0/+14Yeah, that was our plan: intentionally crash our servers. And it worked beautifully, I may say! ;-)

CodeWeavers - jman583, on 10/28/2008, -0/+13Dam, their web site is down.
- flaran, on 10/28/2008, -1/+14So you're still a snob, the subject of your snobbery changes from time to time?
- DNABeast, on 10/28/2008, -2/+15Finder
- insertAliasHere, on 10/28/2008, -2/+13No, it's a distinction of attitude. All gamers are people who play games, but not all people who play games are "gamers." Like all nickels are coins, but not all coins are nickels.
It has nothing to do with how "hardcore" a game is, although some would try to make that argument, but how frequently you play, and how seriously you take it. - antoniuk, on 10/28/2008, -2/+13Down goes the server.. for 24 hours I bet
- 2of8, on 10/28/2008, -1/+12Oops. At first, I read as "Dreamweaver".
- jessemoya, on 10/28/2008, -0/+10Isn't... I mean, isn't that the point of software?
