AT&T to aim the iPhone at business users

infoworld.com — Has AT&T lost it with planning to market the iPhone to business users? Gartner's Ken Dulaney points out its lack of removable battery. "[A business user] would be crazy to buy without that," Dulaney said. But why would anyone buy a smartphone with out a removable battery? Chic, yes. But, Apple has really set itself this time.

  • streak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you can carry a spare internal battery for other phones, I'll hazard to guess you can carry a spare external battery that plugs into the iPhone and powers/recharges it if necessary. Not the ideal solution, but certainly workable, and I'll hazard to guess such devices are available from day one. In fact, they might even be available now, if the iPhone has the same port as current iPods.
