He left out Tweetie and Tweetsville in the twitter list which are the best twitter clients that I thought a ton of people already knew about. Not to mention 90% of the time I clicked on an app I hadn't heard of that seemed cool- it had like 2 stars and all the comments were "doesn't work" or "crashes".

For those who have not I can expand it a bit. There are many many useful tools in it yet it remains simple and easy to handle. That's where the greatness of this product lies. Well I guess I'm a bit wandering. Let's get back to the subject.
The app I found is called HolyWars. But despite to its name there is nothing religious of something like that. Quite the contrary, it's totally fun yet useful. It's a poll creating tool for iPhone and iPod Touch. Here are the simple rules: you answer 10 questions of other people and take the opportunity to make your own poll. But the most interesting thing is to observe the results which are displayed as colorful spots on the spinning globe. That's really amazing and definitely worth seeing! I think you have to try it before it become commercial. At present time it's released as a free app. I just couldn't help accepting such a givaway offer.
What use could we have of HolyWars? It basically depends on your fantasy. I can suggest just some of them.
1. Now you can approve or disapprove your point of view relying on the many different peoples' opinions. For instance I was quite surprised to know that 57% of respondents think that Bush deserves being thrown shoes at. When I answered this question I expected to see maybe 20%, not more. But now I have to admit that I was wrong. And if you and your friend are debating about some burning question, Holywars may clinch an argument.
2. You can carry out statistical researches which can be very informative and, more importantly, global, because your will get answers from everywhere on Earth. I doubt that even big and important research agencies can have such possibilities as to question people all over the world. Nevertheless you can :)
3. You can extend your knowledge about totally different matters using HolyWars. Also you can test your own knowledge by taking part in other polls. Don't worry you ain't getting a bad mark if answered incorrectly. This app may help you to open your mind.
4. And last but not the least. With HolyWars you can just have a good time when bored or upset. Cheer up, take a break! Isn't it worth 10 minutes of your precious time?
