64 GB iPod touch on the way?....God, I hope so....

tgdaily.com — Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster wrote in a note to clients that he expects "lower-cost touch-based iPods." Most analysts believe that Apple will bring entry-level 8 GB iPod touch down to $249, while some expect that a 64 GB model will be added to the mix.

  • basye, on 08/01/2008, -0/+264 gigs would be the sweet spot to convince me to buy. Adding GPS would be great, but would too many iPhone-like features cut into their sales?
    The Classic has a niche with those of us who keep one in the car hooked up to the stereo, although it's rumored the Nano is getting another re-design (good god, always hated the 'fatty' shape).
