- LDawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2dudes, that guy isn't puking the garbage, obviously. look at the perspective. he's reading the headlines of the newspapers in the newspaper machine thingies...

- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1one things for sure apple is never short on cool
- rodzilla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think the man in the pictures is shopping at a Microsoft store (not a trash can)

- ManiacFive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That shold be a mighty cool building.
Unfortunately like every other Apple store it will be always rammed of people hogging the Mac's to use as a free interenet cafe. meaning a demo before you buy is virtually impossible.
I'm just waiting for the first anti apple "man anything with apple in the title gets dugg' comments. - JayRod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe the guy puking in the trash can is Bill Gates, puking from disgust that another Apple store is emerging.
- rifter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm with you on that one lDwag. The guy is looking at the paper.
Too many followers on this site. You people need to think for yourselves rather than believe what every other person tells you. Jeebus. - Vaken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hah, that guy coughing/puking? is great!
- Ozmotear, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The dude hunting through the trash is priceless.
- fudgebrown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1a few hours later... and the guy at the trash is still killing me - i was crying the first time i saw them... meanwhile my coworkers walked by wondering what i was up to... :-P
- Durrok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Perhaps there was a misunderstanding and he is looking for an apple core ;)
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I live in Manhattan, and I haven't heard of this until now. Looks sweet.
- Solstice, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1hopefully the enclosure won't have visible mold lines like some other translucent cube that they've made....
- MonkeyFit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@ maniacfive
you didn't have to wait long did you. wow. sucks for you jk_baller23. I live in a hick town of about 20,000 people and even we have an apple store. it's a small one but it's still an apple store. - dptechie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can anyone say broken windows?
- jk_baller23, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, apple has crazy looking stores. My only wish is that they open a store near my house. Closest one is 2 hours aways and it isn't an Apple Store, just an Apple Reseller, CompUSA. The actual retail store closest to my house is probably 6 hours away.
What is happening in front of the construction?? - chevyorange, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@ jk_balle23 - CompUSA is hardly an Apple store. Go in there asking about a Mac and some nerd will tell you that you should really be buying this PC over here......
I hope an Apple Store opens close to you too for all of our sakes! - mikataur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Will things like this actually help grow Apple's marketshare (which, despite all the media attention, remains very low) or will it just make existing Mac users more inclined to buy more?
I don't know. - phxbruzer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I want to know what's up with that dude in the last couple pictures and the trashcan. What the heck is so interesting in there?
- skyhighrockets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow, that is really cool, besides the louvre, there isn't many buildings like that. especially retail store.
- DewayneSmith, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1man anything with apple in the title gets dugg
- gamabunta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Funny that the photo are credited to cheechandchong.com
- gamabunta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0....and in some of those pics there's a guy that looks like he's puking into a trash can.
- meander, on 10/12/2007, -0/+020,000 people isnt a hick town, the town about 2 miles north of me thats last population count was 136 is a hick town...
- ndm007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0at least its not another freaking starbucks
=) - aprocter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hes looking for something on the ground not in the trash can, you can tell in the second picture

I guess there must be something about apple and since so many windows users love their pcs's it can't be them it must be the apple faithful. Which begs another question why does apple have such a dedicated following, why does Fararri have such a dedicated following.... - tremolo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it's a store...
- AllnightChemist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anyone have any idea who designed this thing?
Also, I think the putative “puking man is actually trying to duck out of the shot. But MAYBE he was just glancing at The Onion. …and then puking! - fudgebrown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i own a Powerbook... am i normal? or am i like a Ferrari owner? So that's what Apple was about from the very beginning - - "Think Different." makes so much sense now...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Only the most elite Apple users will be invited to the store.
- joehodgson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is awesome, I love apple stores, they really make the effort, its not just a space they rent painted white!
- tirion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@mikataur
You don't always have to have a specific reason for making something nice. They like what they do and they are proud of it! I mean, I don't build a nice house to make more money do I? And yeah, it helps cultivate the cool image of apple and grows the mindshare.
As for the marketshare issue, you do know that their market share is rapidly increasing don't you? They are just about the fastest growing PC manufacturer you know... - Dustin3737, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thinks its cool. iDugg it.
- irobot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My brain says, "more Apple news?"
But my heart says...
dugg. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What's this dude doing in the lower left-hand corner?
