- sockpuppets, on 11/27/2007, -11/+73That's the sound of a million Apple fanboys clicking and fapping.
- flipmeat, on 11/27/2007, -4/+58I enjoy my Mac and all, but this is a bit much for me.
- TGMD, on 11/27/2007, -3/+41How can there possibly be enough mac news to fill 30 minutes a day!
- dn11, on 11/27/2007, -1/+30"24 hours a day" WOW this must be some sort of magic pixie technology. The rest of the internet shuts down at sunset.
- Bamborzled, on 11/28/2007, -1/+15Here are some headline ideas I've thought about recently. It'll help them fill up at least 30 minutes:
"BREAKING NEWS: STEVE JOBS DRINKS COFFEE! UP-TO-THE MINUTE UPDATES"
"Apple Votes '08: Steve Ballmer launches smear campaign against Apple"
"Celebrity Gossip: Black turtleneck at MWSF '08 rumoured to be darker than at MWSF '07. Does this mean a new Mac tablet?"
"iPhone jailbreak LIVE"
"ANN Exclusive: Our troops in Redmond" - GeneralFailure0, on 11/27/2007, -3/+16I guess some people really can go on about Apple forever.
- Konstantino, on 11/27/2007, -3/+15Quicker way for them to fap:
http://www.thedigitallifestyle.tv/Home.html (direct link) - rdhazrd, on 11/28/2007, -2/+13I'd bury you, if I had a free hand.
- flux1, on 11/28/2007, -1/+12Expect lots of junk like "Bob's mac site says Vista suxx!" or "Leopard is just the coolest OS ever!"
It will be like the digg front page every time Apple launches a product only never ending. - danielgilbert, on 11/27/2007, -3/+12Why??
- Goodbyeworld, on 11/27/2007, -7/+15Let the flaming begin
- themonkman, on 11/28/2007, -0/+8You've got to be ***** kidding me. I've owned several Macs in my life (even a new Macbook) but damn...that was the most boring ***** I've ever watched in my life. There's an old guy talking about the beginnings of Mac and the f'ing MessagePad (Newton). ***** that has no relevance today whatsoever. They need to get some hot chicks with huge jugs in order to make this even partially interesting.
- Pahtcub, on 11/28/2007, -0/+8Funny the 24 hours mac channel doesn't work on the apple tv.
- holdencaulfield, on 11/28/2007, -0/+6Ohhh.... just as soon as the ***** from MacHeist email and ask them to play along with the ridiculous publicity stunt.
- itseze, on 11/27/2007, -8/+13Wow, that is an apple fanboy's wet dream!
- EntropyFan, on 11/28/2007, -0/+5I don't know. I figure there is about 5 minutes of real news about Apple (on average, conferences generate a lot more of course) in a week. you can pad it with about 10 minutes of fluff, and keep it kind of legit.
then 20 minutes of nonsense, just to appeal to the fan-kiddy base.
So 35 minutes a week worth of content on a 24/ 7 channel.
Sounds about right for America.
And I thought the weather channel was crazy! - inactive, on 11/27/2007, -15/+20Butt Sex
- Bamborzled, on 11/28/2007, -0/+4G4? Games? Blasphemy. It's an insult to gamers everywhere.
- igutekunst, on 11/28/2007, -0/+3The site is quite slow.
- rft3rd, on 11/28/2007, -0/+3An except (paraphrased) from the 8:15 - 8:30 EST stream. .... Sigh
" So I am thinking about getting a Mac Mini for my parents this holiday season, do you think its worth it or um..."
"Um yeah I think its totally worth it..... I think its the best value for the money.... You can upgrade the memory in it..."
"Is the memory user upgradeable?"
"umm the memory is not user upgradeable but anyone can do it if they want and it wont void the warranty... unless they damage it or something like that"
That is horrendously amusing. Why not just have these two tools stroking each other while watching the newest "Hi I'm a Mac" Commercial. It may be more informative. - bigsteve, on 11/28/2007, -1/+3If he were real. The fella running applematters outed him after his hosting organization said "excuse me? You were *hacked?* You realize spreading lies about our security being compromised is bad for our business, right?" and he pooped himself.
http://www.applematters.com/index.php/section/comm ... - tirofiban, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2I was thinking of giving up everything my job, wife, car, and dogs so I could have no life and play World of Warcraft. But this is so much better!
- penguincentral, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Not a big fan of live online streams on your computer, I mean we spend enough time on our computers already, don't we? It'd be nice if there was a 24hr Apple Channel that you could watch on say a satellite dish or something like that (free to air of course), and in widescreen DVB too. Once you do that, you'll have my full and almost undivided attention.
Good luck anyway, i'd like to see this project succeed in the future. - NeonElixir, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Does this mean that iJustine's video feed from now on will just be of her watching this?
- willwoolfdotcom, on 11/28/2007, -4/+5so... how long till Malcor takes this site down?
- pyrates, on 11/28/2007, -1/+2no other fan boy type can compare to apple fan boys, and this here is proof.
- obxjdt, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1this should be a weekly show....
- stevenbao, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Everything in moderation.
This is way too much. 24-hour? I can understand CNN Headline News, but this is too much. They'll run out of content. - DevilInPgh, on 11/27/2007, -5/+6Well, I guess it's a start for a replacement for TechTV in the States. G4 is too games-oriented, so it's good that we have something now (although it would be much better if there were a cable network, and even then, it needs to be more than just Apple).
- bigsteve, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1It's a video channel! I only have to click once! Just the play button, and then boom, free hand for the kleenex.
- chkdg8, on 11/28/2007, -1/+2I hope this doesn't turn out to be a failure like revision3.
- systemghost, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Which probably explains why their programming is the old guy gently caressing the newton. Mac fans live in the past and the future but never the present...
- bigsteve, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1I know, it's such a bitch that my browser auto-loads it every morning and I'm forced to read it.
- toetagger, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Applewhite
- systemghost, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1It also spells Acrolm. Odd...
- taizoshiozaki, on 11/28/2007, -1/+2Just review all Mac freewares/sharewares for 5-minute each. That'll do.
- darlyn, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Granma, gimme my iPhone back!!!
- romantic101, on 12/23/2008, -0/+0This is good news!

it will be a giant pony tail and goatee fest with smugness! - yotoyou, on 11/28/2007, -1/+1I went to the apple store wit battery issues and they gave me a new iphone free even after i had it for 5 months
- DeFex, on 11/28/2007, -3/+3most mac fanboys would not be very interested in that.
- insomniacal, on 11/28/2007, -3/+3Go, Malcor, get 'em!
- docbaily, on 11/28/2007, -3/+3"And in other news, Apple products are STILL over priced. Back to you Kathy."
- PayneX, on 11/28/2007, -1/+1TWIT has become a news video?
- toetagger, on 11/28/2007, -1/+1Uh, oh... Malcor won't be too happeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Funny how MAlCor name is spelled.......
- linespin, on 11/27/2007, -8/+8blogspam - direct link: http://www.thedigitallifestyle.tv/
- inactive, on 11/28/2007, -1/+1This will fail. Every time I check out their site (twice), some old dude is mumbling something into the camera with a messy room as a backdrop. I don't have anything against old people but this is a sure way to miss your target audience.
