- CrimsonBlur, on 11/10/2009, -1/+8$100+ cell phone bill? Only if you get unlimited everything. I pay $65 + fees & taxes which brings it to $78. I pay a lot more for Cable + Internet. I use my iPhone a lot. Even when decided to buy it I didn't realize how often I would use it and how useful it would be in different situations. It's definitely worth it.
- Truedirt, on 11/10/2009, -4/+10iPhone, therefore i exist.
- MathieuB, on 11/10/2009, -2/+7Nice list of Apps for the Iphone. The more of those kind of lists I read and the more I want an Iphone for myself. Not sure I want the $100 or more per month bill from the cell phone company though...
- reaper527, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4you are forgetting that digg is international. i have no idea what the monthly rates on an iphone are up in canada (where mat's profile says he is from)
- mm63, on 11/11/2009, -1/+4Droid FTW
- dawnraid101, on 11/11/2009, -1/+3I need to learn objective-c and make me some money!
- soccermatt34, on 11/11/2009, -0/+2Runkeeper Pro is top notch, glad it made the list

- factsahoy, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1It's an exercise REGIMEN. A regime is maintained by a ruling entity.
- factsahoy, on 11/11/2009, -1/+2A spam E-mail that needs to review some grammar.
"If it wasn't for this app showing me my progress"
If it WEREN'T for this app... - BeyondVision, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1Awsome collection!
From the list, "Absolute Fitness" is my favorite. It records every calorie that is being consumed. - factsahoy, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1Too bad none of the third-party apps can sync data with the computer, though. A few have hacky Web-based or wireless workarounds, but essentially everything you do is stuck on the phone and you can't get it off to make use of it.
Sad. It's one reason why there are so many games and fart players instead of useful apps. - iphonemedical, on 11/15/2009, -0/+1you can found iphone medical apps weekly reviews at http://iphonemedicalapps.com
Hope, it will be useful! - sacr3dcow, on 11/11/2009, -1/+2I've been using iFitness for over 8 months now and I must say I love it. It has a list of workouts, workout videos so you can ensure you're doing the exercise safely and correctly, you can build routines, log sets/reps, track weight, BMI, body measurements, backup data via the cloud/e-mail.
If it wasn't for this app showing me my progress, I would have lost my motivation ages ago, but seeing the graph showing my progress day by day, I've lost 80 pounds all together since using it.
A must have in my opinion. - johnb41, on 11/13/2009, -0/+1A couple missing from the list that i love: iFitness (for logging workouts, bodyweight, measurements, etc.) and the Livestrong app for tracking calories burned as well as a catalog of food nutrition.
- czarcasm, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1The baby shaker contributes to the health and wellness of the world in that the user is less inclined to shake a real baby, thus making the world a safer healthier place for babies.Still hesitant about the app? Consider the fact that healthier babies are..er...good.
/s - ehaugan, on 11/11/2009, -1/+2Wrong, you capitalized the entire word. Its weren't
- fitnessbuff1, on 11/14/2009, -0/+1these are some great suggestions. Check out my blog to learn about a few more health and fitness iphone apps:
http://fitnessbuff1.wordpress.com/ - Goner, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1I pay over $100/month and it pisses the wife off, but I (a devout anti-apple geek all these years) love my iPhone and use it often to RDC, VNC, game, listen to music, have push e-mail in my pocket, document my kid's life in pictures and video, etc... the list goes on and on..
If only the screen was able to fold out and expand to two or three times it's size, I could sell my laptop on craig's list and be done.
Already I've ditched my 3g usb dongle (thereby saving $50/month) - captaingary, on 11/11/2009, -0/+1bang bang shoot shoot
- factsahoy, on 11/11/2009, -2/+2That ship has sailed, bud. Don't waste your time learning what's essentially a proprietary language.
Why do you think the Apple development community is so inbred? - lydiasky, on 11/10/2009, -2/+1Interesting list. On a different note, 10 of the dumbest iPhone apps: http://www.retrevo.com/my/5875/article/1889295
- Lucas123, on 11/11/2009, -3/+1This has over 215 Diggs and it's not hit the FP yet? What's up with that?
