- moredown, on 10/28/2009, -0/+9I mean, i just put it in my pocket... that's pretty wonderful
- Stevosaurous, on 10/28/2009, -0/+7Your gonna get breadcrumbs in your phone with that first one....
- SurrealDream, on 10/28/2009, -1/+4As an iPhone user (lowercase i, capital P), I salute your attempts at humour with a tangible digg, whilst silently mocking your lower status on the technological heirachy.

Come Jeeves! To the juice bar! - Idiggapony, on 10/28/2009, -1/+4That one kinda sticks out, doesn't it?
I have no idea what someone would be doing with a dock that holds 20 iPods simultaneously, but I'm pretty sure the RIAA would be really pissed off if they knew about it. - smacksaw, on 10/28/2009, -1/+4I was hoping there was a Lego one...that is pretty awesome, but so far nothing has beaten this Mega Blocks piece I stole from my kids. It's like a big yellow disc that held a Mickey Mouse character, but turned upside down it is the exact width of the iPhone and lets it tilt at the perfect viewing angle. Bizarre. I'd like to see more of the random ***** people have improvised like that. I would have never guessed some second-rate Lego ripoff would be good for anything, including it's intended design. But you don't know until you try, necessity being the mother of invention and all that. I think it would make a good article where people have found things by accident to work as a dock/stand without trying.
- Pelapp, on 10/28/2009, -1/+310 used cd-r's and some glue. Stunning!!
- splinter09, on 10/28/2009, -0/+2It sure is weird to use sliced bread to hold your Iphone
- Echuu, on 10/28/2009, -1/+3A sammich, really?
However that lego robot stand was piiimp. - jordantneff, on 10/28/2009, -2/+4I've had my iphone for a year and an ipod nano for 3 years before that and I still don't understand the concept of a dock. I just plug the thing into my computer using the cable and set the damned thing on my desk. I see no 'problem' to create this 'solution'.
- victorycig, on 10/28/2009, -1/+3I like the iPhone box dock. It seems so obvious in retrospect.
- Raumschiff, on 10/29/2009, -0/+2Schools. Recorded lectures for example can be distributed to all students without hassle.
- Tyr7BE, on 10/28/2009, -2/+4#21 - Smugly, with it propped up and the screen facing people walking by, scanning people's faces as they go by hoping they notice that you bought an apple phone.
- Flagg3, on 10/28/2009, -1/+3The concept is that it's easier to place something down with one hand rather than have to find a cable and plug it in manually. While it's probably easier when attached to your computer, I'm pretty sure the millions of people who have to search around for the end of the cable to plug their phone in next to their nightstand get the concept.
And considering the fact that a basic dock costs about $4 delivered on ebay, if it saves you even a couple of minutes per month it's probably worth it for many people. - motionblur, on 10/28/2009, -0/+2This list is missing the Carbon Podium, a stand I recently ordered. Highly recommended for its functionality and form factor.

- omgwtflawl, on 10/28/2009, -0/+1Ads masquerading as lists? In my Digg?
- sgnpkd, on 10/28/2009, -0/+1I tried the slice of bread but after a few days it just got mold all over... a banana is clearly better.
- rmxz, on 10/28/2009, -1/+2I'm quite tempted to tie one cell phone to a wall in my house kinda like how those old fashioned phones were tied so I don't keep loosing my phone. While I'm at it, I might look for a way to attach my TV's remote control to the TV for the same reason.
- rimantas, on 10/29/2009, -0/+1Best thing in the best thing since the best thing was invented.
- chargerland, on 10/29/2009, -1/+1I use my hand to hold mine
- acex23, on 10/28/2009, -1/+1Anyone else confused why a dime-a-dozen clock radio dock made the list?
- meyert11, on 10/28/2009, -3/+2While the second generation Zune doesn't compare to the Iphone, I did like that it was square so it was easy to sit onto things. This came in handy recently when I had to travel with my 2 1/2 year old. I brought the zune on the plane, plopped it on the drink tray and he watched sponge bob during the flight. I'm just happy my Zune stopped collecting dust and was actually useful for once.
