- RATabora, on 10/20/2007, -8/+132I can only imagine what people will use the guest account logins for...
- kevinmotel, on 10/18/2007, -5/+121for their guests
- krayzee911, on 10/18/2007, -3/+61Duplicate. I've seen this "Wordpress Error" article about 150 times already.
- inactive, on 10/20/2007, -5/+62"That You Didn’t Know About"
I hate titles that assume the reader doesn't know something - kaytrio, on 10/20/2007, -5/+41am I the only one that actually read all 300 new features...?

- theskyman, on 10/19/2007, -8/+32These are all listed with the 300 other new features..... http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/300.html
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -0/+22Address book syncs with Yahoo! but can we get some love for Gmail, too?
- grouchyman, on 10/18/2007, -5/+23Wait... you can get porn off the internets?
- bill679, on 10/18/2007, -5/+23Thanks for the mirror, but you do realize that a digg does not equal a hit. A whole lot more people may have hit but not dugg the article.
- jkoke, on 10/22/2007, -1/+15Homophobic much? Seriously, Freud would have a field day with you.
- slthytove, on 10/18/2007, -2/+14Nope - I did too, so I knew about all of these. ;)
- sparkrainfir, on 10/18/2007, -1/+136. Scroll Non-Active Windows
Scroll any open window, even if it’s not active. Simply position your mouse over the target window and scroll.
super stoked about that one. - mlostracco, on 10/18/2007, -2/+13Some people don't want to wade through nine hundred "LOL!" and "Great post. Dugg!" comments all the time.
- KoZo, on 10/18/2007, -1/+11Uhmm, where are the "top-secret" features?
- victorycig, on 10/18/2007, -2/+12It's not Wordpress. It's the server.
- Tezdoll, on 10/18/2007, -0/+91. OpenDocument and Word 2007 Formats Take advantage of TextEdit support for the Word 2007 and OpenDocument formats for reading and writing.
2. Workspaces Save the configuration of all your open windows as a workspace. The location, window settings, and shell configurations of multiple windows can then be recalled instantly.
3. .Mac Sync for System Preferences Get yourself a .Mac account and your System Preferences can stay in sync across all your Macs. No matter what Mac you use, you’ll feel right at home.
4. Guest Log-In Accounts Allow anyone to surf the web and check email as a guest on your Mac. When they log out of the guest account, Mac OS X purges the account, removing any trace of their activity. So each time someone logs in as a guest, he or she gets a fresh, unused account.
5. Grammar Check Let your grammar set a shining example. A built-in English language grammar checker helps ensure that you don’t make errors in grammar.
6. Scroll Non-Active Windows Scroll any open window, even if it’s not active. Simply position your mouse over the target window and scroll.
7. Printer Drivers via Software Update Make sure you always have the latest printer drivers. Download directly to your system using the familiar capabilities of Software Update.
8. PDF Manipulation in Preview Re-create your PDF as you like. Move individual pages around, or remove pages altogether. You can even combine PDFs with a simple drag and drop.
9. Self-Tuning TCP Let Leopard adjust TCP buffer size automatically. Get optimum application performance, especially in high-bandwidth/high-latency environments.
10. Archive Mailbox Create an archive of your mailbox to back up important messages or to transfer your mail to another computer.
11. SMS Forwarding Register for AOL’s Mobile Forwarding service and receive instant messages on your phone when you’re away from your computer.
12. Event Dropbox Share the information you need for a successful meeting. Simply drag photos, video, or any kind of document into an event. Send email invitations to attendees and your attachments go along for the ride.
13. Font Auto-Activation Automatically activate fonts as you need them. When an application requests an installed font that’s currently disabled, Leopard activates that font and keeps it active until the requesting application quits.
14. Instant Screen Sharing from the Finder Start an interactive screen sharing session with other Macs on your network. Just select the Mac from your sidebar and (if authorized) you can see and control the Mac as if you were right in front of it. Change a system preference, publish an iPhoto library, or add a new playlist to iTunes.
15. Wikipedia in Dictionary Harness the power of Wikipedia when you’re connected to the Internet — built right into it’s Dictionary. You get a great Mac OS X user interface with super-fast searching and beautifully laid out-results.
16. Synchronize with Yahoo! Synchronize Address Book on your Mac with your Yahoo! address book. Just enter your Yahoo! account information in Address Book preferences to get started. - ST0N3, on 10/18/2007, -2/+10can someone please, please, please, tell me if resolution independence is still a feature.
- hiphoc, on 10/18/2007, -14/+22ummm....porn?
Not that I would, but I'm just sayin'. - coldfusion1970, on 10/18/2007, -9/+17Some good stuff that i hadnt read about.
- etandrib, on 10/18/2007, -0/+8Some developers think that it just isn't turned on yet. Apple will probably announce it when they release new monitors with high resolution or something and a maintenance update will turn it on.
They also want/need to give 3rd party developers more time to fix their applications. I also read that the finder still isn't ready for resolution independence so that may be one of the reasons. Granted these are interface fixes so the interface can deal with half pixels and pixel cracks. It shouldn't effect usability but Apple likes to make everything perfect even down to the half pixel. :) - blackjack75, on 10/18/2007, -0/+8A guest account automatically destroys all the data when closing the session. If you're a bit sentimental with your porn you'd rather use a normal encrypted account.
- larsabrasha, on 10/18/2007, -0/+6Where do you get that from? If you look at http://developer.apple.com/leopard/overview/index. ... it seems to be included.
- dan7562, on 10/17/2007, -0/+6Acually its a very expensive case mod, but its well worth it to have a mac.
- sinfony, on 10/18/2007, -2/+8Archiving my email is an exciting feature?
- MellerTime, on 10/18/2007, -0/+6Only if you're using a poorly configured configuration on Dreamhost... It's not terribly difficult to activate wp-cache and kill widgets / plugins that are too db intensive, people just don't do it...
- Darph.Bobo, on 10/18/2007, -1/+7Then don't buy the upgrade, what are you stupid?
- chrislee149, on 10/18/2007, -0/+6I just want built-in iCal-GCal sync. :/
- Kelmon, on 10/17/2007, -1/+7I understand what you mean about Notepad but Paint? Paint? It still defaults to wanting to save images as full colour bitmap files (oh, how I hate getting those bastards in email) and you can't have more than 1 document open at a time! This isn't the 1980's anymore.
- ronh, on 10/18/2007, -8/+14Does it help Wordpress survive more then 47 hits?
- AZooYorkMystery, on 10/18/2007, -1/+7Logging in to a separate account for something else? Well that's just inconvenient.
What the hell do you think Safari's private browsing is for? - DaffyDuck, on 10/18/2007, -0/+5Someone beat you to it. Sorry.
http://metaquark.de/appfresh/ - grouchyman, on 10/18/2007, -1/+6I read through them as well. Lots of goodies I can't wait to try out.
- Grogtron, on 10/17/2007, -3/+8Especially when said topic has been on the front page in various forms for days.
Of course, it's hard to drive AdSense impressions with titles like "Same ***** you saw yesterday, but in a narrower table." - MacParrot, on 10/22/2007, -1/+6The best part is you'll probably be suspended so no one will have to listen to your fantasies for long. Seriously, try and find a woman desperate enough to sleep with you.
- dvdrtrgn, on 10/18/2007, -1/+6I like #14. Instant Screen Sharing from the Finder
- coolbru, on 10/18/2007, -4/+917. Still no viruses.
That do it? - Prod_Deity, on 10/18/2007, -1/+6You don't need 10.5 for that if you have an iPhone. The latest iTunes does that for iPhone users.
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -1/+647 diggs does not equate to 47 people visiting a site.
- bennytbtl, on 10/17/2007, -0/+4FYI, under the format menu, choose "make plain text" and TextEdit behaves like notepad.
- magicmarc, on 10/18/2007, -1/+517. Calculator. You may need this.
- MellerTime, on 10/18/2007, -0/+4I would like to know exactly which store you went to and the name of the sales clerk...
- inactive, on 10/17/2007, -6/+10Yeah vista is so original, the spotlight search, and gadgets were Ms idea first yah right
- larsabrasha, on 10/17/2007, -0/+4Where do you get that from? If you look at http://developer.apple.com/leopard/overview/index. ... it seems to be included.
- Kelmon, on 10/18/2007, -1/+5We can only wonder about what other things turn the author on but I think everyone can agree that archiving email isn't that exciting, although I will admit that it would be damned useful depending on whether it also archives folders that mails have been moved to (ala Auto-Archive in Outlook).
- toetagger, on 10/17/2007, -2/+6These are included in the widely read 300 features list. zzzzzzzzzzz
