I love how you skirt Jtbo's question. It seems like the new past time is talking negatively about the iPhone. "Oh, those features were around 3 years ago." Fine, why the ***** do guys like galv0 feel the constant need to say this? You don't like the iPhone? Don't ***** get it!!! It's as simple as that.
Sure, my old (very old) Nokia had video capture and Apple finally officially supports it. Of course, I've had video on my iPhone for a while because I jailbroke it. But fine, many don't want to have to screw with their phone. So the question becomes, how did the iPhone corner the market?
Look, there's no perfection when it comes to phones. Each will have features that others do not. However, it's a safe bet that when the iPhone came out, it took *everybody* by surprised. People didn't know what to make of it. Steve Balmer dismissed it with a laugh.

And the $10 is for iPod Touch users, not for iPhone users. This is a major upgrade. Would windows give all Vista owners their latest version of Windows for free? And what the hell does that have to do with the user experience of the phone, anyway? If you just want to bitch, fine. But don't try to disguise it as some type of rational argument.
And regarding MMS, again, you're not paying attention. Tethering, MMS. Features that AT&T hasn't supported yet. If you haven't been under a rock for the last month, you'd understand that these features are already built into the iPhone. It's up to AT&T to support them. - TylerJones32, on 06/19/2009, -2/+4Exactly, I had a HTC Touch when I was on a Sprint contract and it had voice capabilities, video recording, etc. But I recall that the phone was so slow, and the touch feature of the phone was incredibly unresponsive. The iPhone has been the only touch phone I've been happy to use, touch, and hold. Yes, even over the Palm Pre. But I cannot say that I am impressed with the features of the 3G S. Another couple hundred dollars just to get a few software features and some hardware upgrades that my current iPhone doesn't have.
- ChrisHB, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2I have noticed a feature no one has mentioned. I have playlist that shows podcasts with the play count = 0. When the podcast is played, the playlist updates on the phone. It no longer shows the played podcast. This did not happen on version 2.x.
