Four kids and their greatest passion: music, in particular rock music.
The story starts in the south of Italy, in Puglia, near the city of Taranto.
Giovanni and Pietro (18) are friends since kindergarten, at the age of 10 they begin their musical studies: Giovanni starts studying classical piano but he will soon change into drums; Pietro, instead, immediately falls in love with the electric bass.
At the same time, Giacomo (16) begins to play the guitar with his private teacher, Gino Gentilesca, who teaches him love to that instrument as well as rock music. Gino grows up his son Gianluca (14) in the same way, considering him as a natural talent: at the age of 7, Gianluca is able to play astonishing guitar solos going from rock to funky,to jazz and blues.
He is only 8 years old when he attends Umbria Jazz Festival’s seminars winning scholarships. Also duets with famous italian musicians and is invited to show his great talent in many popular TV shows.
In the meanwhile Gianluca learns to sing and his father introduces him to his student Giacomo: they immediately play guitar together having so much fun.
They later meet Giovanni: he is exactly the drummer they are looking for to give some rhythm to their music; Giovanni decides to add to the band also one of his best friends: Pietro, the bassist. They soon found themselves playing the famous “Highway Star” by Deep Purple: that was GENTILESKA’s birth.
Their first album is expected to be in stores in April: “Dammi un po’ d’amore” (“Give me some loving”) will be the first single; but GentilesKa’s talent is already online: on the official You Tube channel ("gentilesKachannel") are available some of their personal experiences demonstrating how GentilesKa really can rock!
