When you take that lobster boat gig or tube down the Snoqualmie this summer, your iPad and Surface are now invited along for the ride. Northwest River Supply is an employee-owned company based out of Idaho that makes kayak and rafting supplies for the water-bound. This waterproof tablet case is big enough to hold other stuff you don't want to get wet in addition to your devices, and the thin PVC-free polyurethane even lets you use the touchscreen on your phone or tablet once they're inside.

Twist down the three beefy flip locks and you get a good sense that the bag is fully closed. Out on the water, the case is rated waterproof to 15 feet (and will usually float, depending on the weight-to-air ratio) plus you get two eyelets to attach it to your watercraft and a detachable shoulder strap to carry it on your person. Even if you're not heading to a river near you this summer, this will make hitting refresh on Digg (or other websites, we suppose) a lot easier in the tub.
