We here at Digg dot com never tire of persuasive, terrifying graphs about global warming, and we were particularly compelled/horrified by this animation by Redditor u/kevpluck, which shows the global surface temperature every month since 1880 according to NASA:

Every month is color coded according to where it falls between the hottest month and the coldest month to date โ€” new records get the most intense blue and red. As you can see, we've been setting global surface high temperature records pretty steadily since the 1990s. If you haven't yet planned how you're going to cope with the rapidly approaching climate-change-induced dystopia, now might be a good time to start thinking about it!
