FETCHING THOSE GOOD FEELINGS

Sometimes it's important to remember the characters we laugh at in memes and other internet famous images have their own hopes, dreams, and loved ones. After all, they're real people. Or, even better, they're real animals.

Today, the internet got the rare treat to see into the life of one of these mythic figures: Bailey the golden retriever.

Bailey, perhaps better known as "I have no idea what I'm doing dog" or "redneck retriever," sadly passed away around two years ago. But on Monday morning her owner posted a trove of 100 photos documenting her entire meme-ified life on Reddit and Imgur.

They're all wonderful — especially when you juxtapose Bailey normal-everyday-dog life with her excellently posed meme masterpieces.

Really though, all of the photos in this album are incredible and heartwarming and pure. Swipe through it in the gallery below and enjoy.

Oh, and next time you see a photo of Bailey posing with Impact-font meme text surrounding her face, think about the fact that she really, really loved treats. It'll make it even better.
