​Despite the fact that everyone you've ever met has "Microsoft Office" listed as one of their skills on LinkedIn, I'd be willing to venture not everyone can use Excel to its full potential. Microsoft's spreadsheet-building software is a truly powerful program if you know how to use it. The problem is… learning the tricks of the trade can be a little dry.

That is, of course, unless you're getting your education in cell management from Oz du Soleil, YouTube's only1 Excel expert making tutorials to the sultry sounds of '70s funk.

Dang, apparently Excel can actually be fun when you're dripping with swag while you're using it. And all that really takes is donning a cool outfit and obliterating any and all gridlines that have the nerve to make an appearance on your sheet. 

Dropdown boxes are an undeniably cool and flashy trick of Excel. But they aren't the simplest feature, nor are they terribly useful. Pivot tables, on the other hand, come up all the time. Here's Oz's beginner tutorial for those:

Finally, a hyper-useful skill everyone should have in the toolkit, even if you don't use Excel for work. I'm talking here about organizing hotel dates in a spreadsheet. Let Oz explain:

Well, probably the only one. Honestly I haven't really done my due diligence on staking this claim, but I'd be extremely surprised if there were two people doing this.
