The 'Alternative Limb Project'

 

To create these alternative limbs, de Oliveira Barata works closely with each client in order to get a sense of his or her style. Once she has an aesthetic in mind, she begins designing the limb, employing the help of 3D modeling specialists, electronics experts, and, sometimes, the client's prosthetist.

At The End Of The Tunnel

 

Meyohas applies a range of materials to embellish the mirror, smoke (a neat little reference to smoke and mirrors), daisies, rose petals, pastel backdrops, crumpled up paper, lengths of rope. Even a pair of hands cheekily wraps their fingers around each side of the mirror repeating themselves into infinity in the sunny yellow reflection.
