The November 14 edition of the Washington Post Express — the Washington Post's free daily — contained a story about Alex Trebek. That story featured a photo of Alex Trebek. And as it turned out, the Express had previously used that photo. No big deal — or is it? 

According to this very weird letter shared by Serena Golden, the Express' Deputy Managing Editor, to at least one person it is an extremely big deal:

 

We have some questions:

  • Why is the email in that weird font? 
  • Does the emailer know there are limitless photos of Alex Trebek on the internet? 
  • How is this collection presented?
  • Why? 
  • No, really: why?
