Doofus Drives His Land Rover To The Edge Of The Ocean, Which Promptly Tries To Swallow It

​This guy apparently wanted a photo op at the Jersey Shore's Island Beach State Park with his snazzy Land Rover. He got a lot more than he bargained for:  

While NBC New York reported that the driver was able to free his SUV with the help of a tow truck, his bad decision-making appeared to continue:

Witnesses said the man insisted on driving the vehicle away after it was towed, even though its lights were flashing and its engine was making strange sounds. 

According to the Facebook comments on the video, this dumbness isn't unusual at the beach:

• "I swear every season you can count on 2 things. Thousands of bluefish pix snd stuck cars in the surf of IBSP."
