Kuwaiti Police Catch Drug Smugglers Using Pigeon Backpack To Move Pills
Smuggling drugs into Kuwait is no mean feat, but smugglers are nothing if not creative — as evidenced by the capture of a homing pigeon wearing a pigeon colored backpack filled with 178 pills:
Details about the pigeon bust are scarce, but Al-Arabiya reports:
Kuwaiti customs seized 178 pills wrapped around a homing pigeon. The department's employees tracked a homing pigeon that was coming from Iraq and finally caught it above a building near the customs' department, Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai reported.
On the plus side, the pigeon seems happy and healthy — we hope it won't be punished for its unwitting criminal activities:
