California is the US' most populous state, with about 39 million residents; Wyoming, home to roughly 1/70th the number of people as California, is the least populous state. 

While we've previously seen how you can squeeze 8 state populations into New York City's boroughs, this map shows how easily the entire Wyoming population would fit into San Francisco — California's fourth biggest city:
