LIGHTS! CAMERA! QUIRKY POSTERS!

Finding the right quirky poster to capture the soul of you favorite movie can be hard. Especially since official movie posters are often stinkers. Thankfully, Jordan Bolton is out there making awesome tributes to famous movies perfect for a wall near you.

Bolton is a poster artist from Manchester, UK, who picks out the weird, beautiful objects that make movies unique, recreates them in real life, and arranges them in an interesting way in real life and then photographs them. All this creates a memorable final product that completely captures the vibe of the movie it represents.

"By focusing purely on the objects and colour palette of the film, I see the posters as providing an interesting and fresh perspective on the film's themes and characters even for someone who has seen the film many times," Bolton tells Digg over email.

Bolton's 'Carol' poster is remarkable because of its pseudo-symetrical style. The reversible design is a tribute to "the role reversal that takes place between Therese and Carol over the course of the film," Bolton writes on his tumblr.

Bolton has also started a new series of posters called "Rooms." Highlighting the awesome sets of great movies, these posters have just as much potential to please as the "Objects" series.
