Australian telecommunications company Optus is introducing Netflix to the Land Down Under and they hired a decidedly disinterested Ricky Gervais as their pitchman. So here are five short ads with Ricky Gervais at peak Gervais (minus the swearing).

He tries his hand at being earnest, but he can only summon enough energy to pitch shows and movies that he starred in (did anyone actually watch Derek?):
