If you're like most people, the name Brandon Hardesty means absolutely nothing to you — but you've probably seen him in a slew of things without realizing it. That's because he's a life-long character actor. And in his series "No Small Parts" he gives other character actors the recognition they deserve.
Episode 1 focuses on the work of Anne Ramsey, best remembered as "Mama" Fratelli from "The Goonies."
Vincent Schiavelli is spotlighted in episode 2, who, despite his 157 film credits, and memorable parts in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Ghost," and "Man on the Moon," is almost completely unknown to most moviegoers.
"The Shining" is where most people have seen Scatman Crothers. Besides 40 years of acting, he was also a professional drummer, guitarist, singer, songwriter and comedian.
In his most famous role as Wicket the Ewok, Warwick Davis's face isn't even visible. This was the case more often than not in Davis's career, where he was often covered in makeup and prostheses, from playing Griphook in the "Harry Potter" series to the titular character in the "Leprechaun" films.
Brandon Hardesty recently created a Kickstarter to fund further episodes of "No Small Parts." If you enjoyed these episodes, click here to donate.
