Southern Dem warns party to avert disaster

politico.com — Democrats are increasingly nervous about their party ’s protracted nomination fight, and some prominent figures are publicly warning that the party needs to act fast to avoid disaster.

  • cashman57, on 03/26/2008, -0/+1The time to do something was when the Clintons and Obama stepped into the mudhole and started slinging. In a stunning dispaly of lack of leadership the Democrat Party didn't step in.
    Now we have Clinton supporters who say they will never vote for Obama and Obama supporters saying they would never support Clinton.
    Trying to do something now is the same thing as closing the barn door after the horse is gone.
