[PIC] Hilary and Bill Clinton in the 1970's
notmytribe.com — Bill's got a scruffy beard and a mop on his head. Hilary is rocking the classic 70's style sunglasses and straight hairdo.

- Gugel, on 02/07/2008, -428/+33I hate to say it, but Hilary looks kinda attractive in this picture.
- XNihil0Zer0, on 02/07/2008, -8/+230I hate to ask it, but do you wear a strong perscription?
- ClavinJ, on 02/07/2008, -49/+15she looks like a dike in that pic
- nblsavage, on 02/07/2008, -5/+86what? Was she retaining water?
- ShrimpCrackers, on 02/07/2008, -6/+9Wasn't she was still a registered Republican back then?
- thcobbs, on 02/07/2008, -14/+7Is that the only picture you've seen of her then?
- nihilite, on 02/07/2008, -5/+7i think i hate you, but that's funny.
- naio, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3For me she looks like Ozzy Osbourne nowadays.
- grgt1994, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1You've just described every picture of her over the last 30 years.
- nblsavage, on 02/07/2008, -5/+86what? Was she retaining water?
- ClavinJ, on 02/07/2008, -49/+15she looks like a dike in that pic

-Jay & Silent Bob
- nihilite, on 02/07/2008, -0/+13do you mean
- greenlight2001, on 02/07/2008, -13/+43Her face looks like a butt turned sideways. I truly hope you were kidding...
- Syphon0928, on 02/07/2008, -25/+3She looks like Lois Griffin
- rz8472, on 02/07/2008, -1/+9More like Meg Griffin with longer hair...
- rsurfs, on 02/07/2008, -1/+24Don't you ever disgrace Lois again...
- souljaboytellem, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Where does this guy live..seth has something for you
- kris.cruz, on 02/07/2008, -3/+39Is that you Bill??
- morninglorii, on 02/07/2008, -5/+51Honestly... I think she looks better now than back then.
- BlazinEurasian, on 02/07/2008, -3/+26You must be incredibly ugly.
- Jschluet, on 02/07/2008, -6/+33I'm sorry but she doesn't even come close to respectable standards, now or then
- queenstarsha, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1looks are everything, after all.
- coustoe, on 02/07/2008, -19/+3heheheh weee 90 negatives diggs i just dugg you down because negative diggs are cool, and that was one cool comment
- samssf, on 02/07/2008, -15/+1oh god oh jesus, whoa... uh..... ***** no... she looks way better than now back then, and I wouldn't touch her with a 30 foot dick even now.
- souljaboytellem, on 02/07/2008, -0/+5You COULDNT touch her even with ur 2inch dick
- Ventolin, on 02/07/2008, -13/+5Wow, welcome to bury land.
- easyfnmoney, on 02/07/2008, -2/+25You're one sick *****.
- samscomputer2, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Right when i read the original comment thats exactly what i said
- sovietninja, on 02/07/2008, -0/+8How ironic, I bet this was leaked to appeal to people's "bad" tastes. Voting for her is in bad taste, no need to prove it lol.
- adooga, on 02/07/2008, -8/+17I'd totally hit that. You're all crazy.
- Eira, on 02/07/2008, -1/+22I hate to say it, but she looks kind of like my friend's dad.
- walkea1, on 02/07/2008, -22/+6I can't believe you got the most negative diggs I've ever seen. People on Digg write the most insensitive, ignorant, F*ed up ish in the comments and the thing that gets the most buries ever is a guy saying a young hilary clinton is somewhat attractive.
- TBoneFever, on 02/07/2008, -2/+14What's more ***** up than saying hillary clinton is attractive? Not even making beastiality/scat-related comments would compare to the horror that is hillary clinton.
- CaptainNoPants, on 02/07/2008, -2/+12fail
- senatorpjt, on 02/07/2008, -5/+4http://www.nohillaryclinton.com/blog/blog_images/H ...
She looks ok in that picture.- boombye, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1Ok do you even know how old she was in that picture? I'm going to have to notify Chris Hansen.
- senatorpjt, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2It's a college picture. So, over 18.
- boombye, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Looks more like a HS grad pic, but yeah whatever
- senatorpjt, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2It's a college picture. So, over 18.
- mjfitzge, on 02/07/2008, -1/+3that is weird that you think that.
- boombye, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1Ok do you even know how old she was in that picture? I'm going to have to notify Chris Hansen.
- mcmlxxii, on 02/07/2008, -0/+8Had to laugh when I saw how many negative diggs that comment got. Just imagine Hillary looks at that comment - a momentary "aaah, how sweet" abruptly curtailed by seeing those diggs. mwahahahaha
- brundlefly76, on 02/07/2008, -1/+7If I had met these two in college, I would have loved to do bongs with Bill, shoot the ***** and listen to Steely Dan.
Then when we were really ***** up I would look him straight in the eye and say:
"Bill, seriously, what the ***** are you doing with that butterface Hillary?"- queenstarsha, on 02/07/2008, -3/+1he wouldn't hang out with you, then. some smart men like smart women. and they sure want smart friends...
- kmb1794, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5I think she looks hotter now.
- scimitar91, on 02/07/2008, -1/+2you made me lol my pants
- busybenj, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Step AWAY from the armchair!!!
- whitemage, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6i logged on just to bury this
- k1down, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1People love to rip on Hilary for her looks. It's a good thing she's not some weak minded bitch like many girls who seem to have given you all the impression that your approval of their looks is all that matters to them. The internet is truly a window to the soul...
It's amazing that more people won't vote for her because she's ugly than the fact that she is a crook. Progress! - queenstarsha, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1whoa. epic diggdown. i shall then hide here my admission that i opened this cause bubba looked tasty as a young mountain man.
- nemothewhale, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1*Cleveland* C'mon, nobody else thinks power is sexy?
- scimitar91, on 02/07/2008, -1/+2that's like a girl thinking "hey Hitler's not bad looking"
buried eternally buried- sougly, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2It's like a girl saying an ugly guy is kind of attractive.

- Managua8Green, on 02/07/2008, -2/+9I wish I could ***** in your mouth, film it, put it on the internet, and it'll be the next WOW shock website.

- muffinmonk, on 02/07/2008, -1/+10nihilite's comment buried for inaccuracy. it's Brian-ism. He said that to peter when he found out he was retarded.
- nihilite, on 02/07/2008, -1/+11well. *****. give me a break. i work for a living. ... you win.
- FatLoser, on 02/07/2008, -0/+7I was actually channeling Dave Chapelle... from when he schooled that little faggy cancer kid...but whatever

- hadak, on 02/07/2008, -35/+4You really are a fat loser.
- LanceHardenburg, on 02/07/2008, -0/+11Gee thanks for pointing them out, I completely overlooked the "hair-do's!" before I read your comment.
- Lukesed, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1To be honest neither one is really that odd, both of them would have bangs nowadays I guess is the real difference.
- AceTracer, on 02/07/2008, -0/+4That dude needs to cut his ***** hair and get a job.
- theuber1337, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3Wow... Bill's hair looks just like mine.
- ubergeek09, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Get a haircut now.
- theuber1337, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Don't be puttin' me down, thats what the man wants me to do.
- ubergeek09, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Get a haircut now.
- FatLoser, on 02/07/2008, -8/+137More like hair-don'ts!!! OMG YES I DID; IN YOUR FACE *****, IN YOUR GOD DAMN FACE
- norfromtorway, on 02/07/2008, -35/+9I would hate to say that too.... ugh. ;)
- sandburn, on 02/07/2008, -14/+1007Damn hippies... You'll never make ANYTHING out of yourselves!!!
- jake07, on 02/07/2008, -17/+27Ha ha. I'd feel comfortable as hell asking either one of those two for a joint. But currently, I'd rather smoke one with Chelsea.
- thcobbs, on 02/07/2008, -14/+9And she'd rather smoke your pole.... or so I've heard.
- hadak, on 02/07/2008, -11/+8She can smoke mine.
- MacEnvy, on 02/07/2008, -6/+23I'd light one up with Obama, myself. And unlike Bill, he'd inhale.
- thcobbs, on 02/07/2008, -4/+10Why should he inhale? He's got interns to do that for him.
- InspectorGadget, on 02/07/2008, -10/+9Yeah but Obama would leave to go do some coke immediately after you smoke him up, violating at least 2 rules of pot-smoking etiquette.
- ScottyMcBaggs, on 02/07/2008, -12/+4I love smug pot smoking douchebags like yourself who think weed is harmless and all other drugs are 'TEH DEVILL'. Eat a dick you wanker.
- d00ter, on 02/07/2008, -1/+2I'm pretty sure one of the rules he stated was leaving immediately after you smoke him up. Of course, pot is obviously so much worse than coke. I think I'll do a line later, rather then roll a joint.
- InspectorGadget, on 02/07/2008, -1/+2@ ScottyMcBags - I don't smoke pot, you idiot. That doesn't mean I don't support others' right to do so.
- ScottyMcBaggs, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1So you support their right to smoke pot, but not their right to snort cocaine?
- InspectorGadget, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1@ScottyMcBaggs - Where did you get that? Saying that would be rude does not mean I want to make it illegal. You lose. As long as my tax dollars don't go to pay for health care for people that make bad decisions, they can do whatever the hell they want.
- ScottyMcBaggs, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Gee I think I got that from the implication that it's against the 'rules' of pot smoking to snort cocaine. Refer to the parent. Parent, in turn, led to my assumption that you are a smug pot smoking *****- when you're actually just a smug *****. Apologies.
- theuber1337, on 02/07/2008, -0/+16I bet Bill inhaled like the best of em. Admitting it in the 90's would have been political suicide though.
- BoneheadFarker, on 02/07/2008, -0/+5@theuber1337
Had he done it right, he could have come out as a person who takes responsibility for his actions and possibly could have started the long-overdue marijuana reform that would have cemented his place in history. But since he took the cheap way out, he's now going to be a footnote in the history books, eclipsed by the monumental snowjob Bush has pulled off...
- sotopheavy, on 02/07/2008, -2/+9For those of you making Chelsea sex comments... remember that she will likely grow up to look like her mother. AHHHH!
- ConceptJunkie, on 02/07/2008, -1/+4I disagree, because Hillary looked really hideous when she was Chelsea's age and Chelsea has turned out to be quite the attractive woman. Of course, given the family's politics, I'd rather have cancer than be seen with her.
- sougly, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Chelsea is ugly.
- masterm1nd, on 02/07/2008, -5/+13Anything is not always better than nothing...
- Wavicle, on 02/07/2008, -0/+14As long as you don't inhale, there is still hope!
- poopbawls, on 02/07/2008, -0/+7don't offend Glenn
- ZenMojo, on 02/07/2008, -4/+36The inevitable existential self-destruction of the baby boomers/ME generation is that it grew disillusioned with the failed promise of change and instead embraced the trappings of establishment greed and corruption. The Clintons DEFINE this.
- tehxen3, on 02/07/2008, -6/+2Yeah... wouldn't it be better if everyone was much poorer.
- da_bradler, on 02/07/2008, -6/+6God forbid you get a president that makes you americans actually pay back your debts. Republicans are like immature teenagers who come in and run up all there credit cards and then get mad at there parents(democrats) who make them pay it back.
It's sad that there is such hate for Clinton and Nixon even though when you look at there records Americans were expanding the middle class lowering poverty and getting America out of military confrontations.- gader, on 02/07/2008, -2/+3Nixon? That guy was almost as big a piece of ***** as Bush. The Government was in a serious expansion mode under him and don't forget such awesome startups like the ***** DEA. You know that's the one you probably think Elvis ran.
- ConceptJunkie, on 02/07/2008, -1/+3Nixon also got us off the Gold Standard, which is having deleterious effects to the economy, i.e., the dollar isn't worth squat anymore because it's just paper. Clinton didn't get us out of military confrontations, he started the whole Bosnia thing, without U.N. permission. Finally, the word "there": you keep using that word. It doesn't mean what you think it means. Try "their".
- bosssmiley, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6...and that is why Baby Boomers hate Ralph Nader. Unlike them, he kept the hippy/green faith.
- theuber1337, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6Dude.. we could totally eat that pig.. that pig could be in our stomaches in like two minutes.
- llkk33vv11nn, on 02/07/2008, -5/+0hahaha yes i love random family guy allusions
- Myonosken, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3It was a quote, not an allusion. He did not hide it or obscure it any fashion.
- llkk33vv11nn, on 02/07/2008, -0/+0no one said allusions must be hidden, they might often be but it doesn't have to. give me some proof that an allusion MUST be obscure please and i will digg you into infinity
- Myonosken, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3It was a quote, not an allusion. He did not hide it or obscure it any fashion.
- llkk33vv11nn, on 02/07/2008, -5/+0hahaha yes i love random family guy allusions
- sotopheavy, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5Oh yea, they inhaled alright!
- peregrine, on 02/07/2008, -1/+21Yeah they look like they would have voted for Obama!
- ConceptJunkie, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Or Chairman Mao...
- jake07, on 02/07/2008, -17/+27Ha ha. I'd feel comfortable as hell asking either one of those two for a joint. But currently, I'd rather smoke one with Chelsea.
- doublehead, on 02/07/2008, -7/+116Far out man!
- wizzpig1337, on 02/07/2008, -5/+3I KNEW Bill Clinton was chewy from starwars

- goodkidyo, on 02/07/2008, -3/+1luther's dads face is like.. sinking in on itself. They do both have beards so i dunno.
- AlDaTbagsNChina, on 02/07/2008, -48/+385So she looked bad all her life then....
- slightlygifted, on 02/07/2008, -26/+64im sure your quite the supermodel.
- Seantacular, on 02/07/2008, -3/+38you're
- GameFinisher, on 02/07/2008, -11/+3LOL you beat me.
- grgt1994, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Breaking news from the world of science: Even non-supermodels can pick a butt-ugly scank out of a line up.
- In case you missed that news flash.
- slvrbullet87, on 02/07/2008, -2/+2While i might not be the most atractive person alive i do look better than them
- Seantacular, on 02/07/2008, -3/+38you're
- 4UIDigg, on 02/07/2008, -6/+28and now she is a high-powered presidential contender -- it's no joke the U.S. is known as the land of opportunity
- Lynxpro, on 02/07/2008, -5/+23...not to mention mass delusions considering the number of people who just voted for her yesterday.
- da_bradler, on 02/07/2008, -8/+5What exactly did Clinton do that was so bad? besides not wage any wars eliminate the national deficit and expand the middle class.
Now you have someone who is running on basically the same platform plus universal health care and all you do is bitch. i think the people who are against clinton won't vote for Obama either, the people who are against Clinton are the same ones that elected Bush TWICE.
The reason America is such a ***** hole is people like you people with such short memories that they can't remember how good they had it under Clinton and how bad it has been under every republican since WWII.
Now the rest of the world gets to watch as you flush yourselves down the toilet and take half the world with you.- CZzyzx41, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Clinton = Karl Rove with a vagina. NO I do NOT want that in the west wing. Thank you.
Now Obama is actually someone I can get behind. Finally we have someone running for President with strong character, ethics and some sense of decency as a human being.
Clnton feels it necessary to insult my intelligence, play with my emotions, and tell the world flat out lies as if they were truths and this is before she's even in office! You think you hate Bush now. Just wait. Should you be dumb enough to elect her into office, you're going to see the dark side of Bush's administration coming from the office and mouth of a Democratic President. Think Ashcroft, Rumsfeld and Rove all rolled into one body with just enough liberal stances to keep her popular with the Democratic voters.
I fully believe a woman should one day be President of the United States. I just do not think this woman should be that woman.
- CZzyzx41, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Clinton = Karl Rove with a vagina. NO I do NOT want that in the west wing. Thank you.
- cphelps, on 02/07/2008, -1/+6da bradler, would you kindly stick to canadian politics. You're apparently completely uninformed about ours.
- souljaboytellem, on 02/07/2008, -3/+1Are you retarded Da bradler, need i bring up Raegan for republicans, you know nothing of CLinton or Bush stick to your ***** french ***** coutnry
- slvrbullet87, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2@ Da Bradler
I would consider bombing Iraq for 8 years under clinton war, oh and i am not to hot on that flood of pardons he left office with
- da_bradler, on 02/07/2008, -8/+5What exactly did Clinton do that was so bad? besides not wage any wars eliminate the national deficit and expand the middle class.

- thebrawl, on 02/07/2008, -6/+5She? Hillary used to be a woman?
- ConceptJunkie, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2Indeed. And Bill used to be a man.
- dylangaine, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1hahaha- thats so mean!!! and funny!
- slightlygifted, on 02/07/2008, -26/+64im sure your quite the supermodel.
- theNazz, on 02/07/2008, -16/+543... but he didn't inhale.
At least Obama had the stones to come right out and say, yes he inhaled because that was the point. It always did make me a bit nervous that the USA was run by a guy who couldn't even smoke pot right.- UGM2099, on 02/07/2008, -2/+50Mid-late 2000's is not 1992. Look at it this way.. it maybe took one guy 16 yrs ago saying he didn't inhale to pave the way for another guy to admit it fully with zero regard for character flaw. That's progress in my book.
- ypSami, on 02/07/2008, -3/+14"Progress" is frustrating when it's measured in decades, and the casualties pile up in the meantime. Plus, it's kind of lame to call something "Progress" when marijuana law reform is still just a distant gleam in our eyes, and it's clear to any sane and rational human being that pot isn't the problem.
- ScottyMcBaggs, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5Holy *****, no RP plug? I am ***** amazed
- UGM2099, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Sure, it's frustrating, but it's not surprising given the state of the nation and the unfortunate turn that was made in 2000-2001. If you look back at 1998-1999 there was an interesting momentum going on which was squashed.
- ConceptJunkie, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Pot might not be the problem, but the fact that people are so committed to its legalization clearly have nothing constructive to do with their time is.
- ypSami, on 02/07/2008, -3/+14"Progress" is frustrating when it's measured in decades, and the casualties pile up in the meantime. - booshpilot, on 02/07/2008, -4/+24Who cares what anyone admits doing in their youth anymore. 8 yrs of economic growth during the Clinton admin followed by 8 yrs of economic downfall, loss of civil liberties, privacy, a stupid unnecessary war and the forgotten war in Afghanistan! What are your priorities?
- slvrbullet87, on 02/07/2008, -0/+6The first 5 years of the bush admin was growth, it is still higher now than when clinton left office.
- CZzyzx41, on 02/07/2008, -3/+1So says slvrbullet87, former PR director for the Republic of Iraq.

- catesbysimpson, on 02/07/2008, -12/+5"I didn't inhale" is what narcs would say when they testified against druggies in court. The narcs needed to gain the trust of the druggies beforehand by using drugs with them. When the case reached court the narc could not say that they inhaled because their evidence would be thrown out. Thus they would say they smoked but didn't inhale. When Clinton said this it was a joke. Of course he inhaled. Of course the narcs inhaled. It was a very good JOKE.

- davewashere, on 02/07/2008, -2/+9I feel a lot more comfortable with Clinton's "I didn't inhale" than I do with George W. Bush's "I wasn't a cokehead, I just liked how it smelled."
- Hazed2008, on 02/09/2008, -0/+0Who doesn't like how it smells?
- bunk, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1While I do commend Obama for being honest about partying, we don't know yet what the Republicans will do with that if he gets the nomination. So we can't yet say if that was a good move.
- smackjack, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Obama didn't really have a choice because he already wrote about it in his first book
- UGM2099, on 02/07/2008, -2/+50Mid-late 2000's is not 1992. Look at it this way.. it maybe took one guy 16 yrs ago saying he didn't inhale to pave the way for another guy to admit it fully with zero regard for character flaw. That's progress in my book.

- SheilaNoya, on 02/07/2008, -1/+129I'm 57 and I guarantee that in 40 years when you look back at the pierced and tattooed crowd of today, you'll think they are just as ridiculous. Of course, 40 years from now I can't even imagine what the new trends will be... strange facial implants, dyed skin coloring, blinking bionic body parts, wireless screens on your foreheads that project images stored in your brain....
ummmm... maybe I should put out this joint before I scare myself.- ultraseamus, on 02/07/2008, -5/+70I am 21, and I have always thought the pierced and tattooed crowd looked ridiculous.
- ypSami, on 02/07/2008, -12/+7As a representative of the piercing and tattoo crowd, I can assert with full confidence that we feel the same way about you.
- Angostura, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5An I can assert with confidence that in 20 years time your kids' generation will look back at your photos and go 'hahahhaha'.
- senatorpjt, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5As a representative of people old enough to remember stupid fashion trends of the past, I can assert with full confidence that in 20 years, you'll feel the same way about yourself. The only difference is that you can take bellbottoms and legwarmers off and put them in a box in the attic, unlike a tattoo.
- Murdats, on 02/07/2008, -4/+1and I can say with confidence that in 20 years time the piercing and tattoo crowd from 20 years time will look back on his photos and say .. something, I dunno maybe is antiquated piercings and non moving tatoos will be laughable like b/w tv's are but who knows, chances are they will still think its cool.
- ypSami, on 02/18/2008, -0/+1Senatorpjt: Certainly anyone who did it for fashion fits into your little pigeonhole. For those of us who could care less about fashion and the future and were only interested in experiencing something amazing, we'll look back and say, "We did it. We did it then while we still could."
Some people don't assume that they'll be around in 20 years. I don't.
Some people just want to experience as much as they can before the inevitable comes.

It's human nature, and its one of those things that doesn't matter either way. - had3l, on 02/07/2008, -1/+4I actually think that there will be less of that, people will get tired of tattoos and piercing and it will fall out of fashion. There will be a return to just looking "natural". Then the teenagers will revolt against that, and invent something else. It's an endless cycle...
- slvrbullet87, on 02/07/2008, -0/+4Teenage revolt is about trying to look differnt than everybody else by copying everybody else.

- branjb, on 02/07/2008, -1/+6She's a bitch.
- Lynxpro, on 02/07/2008, -2/+8Hmmm...lemme think about that for a moment. Back in 1992 during the original Clinton campaign, focus groups didn't like her professed feminism, and so she grew her hair out longer and appeared on tv supposedly baking cookies. As if that's something she'd ever do in real life. Then you go back to her university days and learn that her grad school thesis is under lock and key due to it supposedly containing elements praising socialism and possibly communism. Then you have what many people to believe is her public sham marriage. Then there's her belief that she has the right to be this nation's first female president as if the Goddess in the Sky ordained it to be and we have to loyally submit to it. Not to mention her trashing women who made accusations against her husband, the Cattle Futures scandal (where $1k becomes $100k), White Water, Travelgate, the alleged suicide of Vince Foster who allegedly shot himself in the head with the wrong hand and dragged his own body for almost a mile, etc. etc. etc. Shall I continue? Oh yeah...her alleged 35 years of experience when in fact she doesn't have more experience than Obama. And I don't say that as a "conservative" or an Obama supporter because I voted for McCain.
- adooga, on 02/07/2008, -4/+2Whatever.

But hey, at least we got off our butts and protested in the streets where the media could no longer ignore us. We helped end the war and we brought about some real social changes in this country.

- poesybeater, on 02/07/2008, -2/+12More baby boomer hogwash. You got us out of a war and INTO another one? Shame on you!
- SheilaNoya, on 02/07/2008, -2/+8Baby boomers were split into two camps - the progressive hippies and the conservative religious nuts. There was a clueless group somewhere in the middle that was more of a "Laugh-In" type crowd that thought they were "hip & cool" but they were mainly just human mannequins.
The progressives always fought against war, demanded social equality for everyone, and wanted peace and prosperity. They wanted to work WITH the world, not blow it up.
The religious nuts have always supported fear and war, mainly because they are gullible and more easily controlled by the war profiteers. They hate "change" and want everything to revert back to some archaic period where only the "righteous" ruled the world (Crusades and Spanish Inquisition come to mind).
Don't lump all Baby Boomers into one category and I won't lump you in with one of the many categories of people today (like a numb-brained gamer who can't get his lazy ass off the couch to vote).- InspectorGadget, on 02/07/2008, -1/+10Your generation holds mine hostage to unsustainable entitlements. Your generation has grown new deal entitlements into a beast that will suck the budget dry for the foreseeable future. Your generation has looked to lock in expanded Medicare prescription drug coverage in the name of compassion where the cost doesn't justify the outcome and there are cheaper ways to obtain the same medicine. Your generation has made the SUV the national car and television the national passtime. Your generation has cherrypicked from the Bill of Rights and ignored amendments that don't suit your narrow political goals. Your generation has supported continuing absurdity, from bussing suburban kids into inner-city schools where they are harassed in the name of "diversity in education" to allowing most of the country's important urban areas to drown in the crack cocaine epidemic. Your generation lacks the political will to put the well-being of American citizens and the American economy ahead of people that ignore our immigration laws, dodge health screenings, and fund invasion of the American southwest by "coyotes" smuggling narcotics, people, and weapons. Your generation has thrown money at every single problem and assumed that would fix it, rather than make tough decisions that would constrain the overreach of government into my wallet and my home. Your generation voted for Al Gore and John Kerry and handed Bush the White House twice. So I feel pretty confident in saying that the baby boomer generation is the worst thing to happen to this country in the 20th century. We went from the generation that fought the Nazis and saved Europe to a generation that has been half-mired in idle hedonism since the 1960s while the other half drives BMWs and constitutes the rank-and-file members of each major party, mindlessly voting for idiot after idiot. Attention baby boomers: You've done enough. Stay home. I have at least another 50 years of life ahead of me, statistically, and I'll be damned if your generation's affection for the dual evils of statism and socialism will ruin them.
- StolenLamp, on 02/07/2008, -2/+0Hey, I am offended by that... video-games are awesome!
- tightscrummy, on 02/07/2008, -2/+1"Baby boomers were split into two camps - the progressive hippies and the conservative religious nuts. There was a clueless group somewhere in the middle that was more of a "Laugh-In" type crowd..."
Er, that's three groups. More hippie->yuppie drivel. Please, retire, stop trying to be involved, and go listen to your Bob Dylan boxset. - soulkitchen, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1@ InspectorGadget: Are paragraphs too much to ask for?
- slvrbullet87, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1Does your commune know you are using the internet? get back in your VW bus and go back to what hippys have been doing for 40 years, nothing.
- tightscrummy, on 02/07/2008, -1/+5Yeah, thanks for the world in such great shape for my generation. You failed but at least you probably had a good time doing it.
- Nick519, on 02/07/2008, -0/+1well, where was YOUR generation last election, hmm? the numbers don't show that you did much of anything. you're just as much to blame as the boomers.
- pdxmark, on 02/07/2008, -1/+3I'm sorry what was the social change you speak of?
"If it feels good do it?" - ypSami, on 02/07/2008, -1/+3Anyone else get an SLC Punk! flashback of Steveo getting his 18th birthday lecture from this dude's comment?

- BadBeat, on 02/07/2008, -1/+4If it weren't for the draft, not nearly as many would have protested. If there was a chance that I would be forced to fight in the war, I would be protesting MUCH louder.
- floatingpoints, on 02/07/2008, -2/+3Um, your generation is the one who ***** it up for ours.
Do you even realize how many decades it will take to undo what Bush ALONE has done?
You may have protested, but now that you've filled up congress and other political platforms, we can see that you too enjoy taking part in the corruption.
While it's not YOUR fault personally, your generation has ***** up quite a bit. Hippies, my ass. - radio1mike, on 02/07/2008, -1/+1Please. I am a child of your generation.
Your generation spawned nothing. Your generation was and still is the most self-absorbed, self-serving and self-righteous generation in all of human history. You did nothing and thought only of yourselves. Your generation hated and defiled all the real accomplishments of your parent's generation. What the hell were your changes really? Drug use, free sex, STDs, the divorce generation of the 70's, the sell-out generation of 80's when you realized you all had to grow up and work...?
The only heroes of your generation were the dead GIs from Vietnam and the civil rights leaders and protesters who died for the dream of an equal society for all.
Your generation thought you were it because you essentially surfed on the tidal wave of change that started to grow from the times of Reclamation and Women's Suffrage.
The only things that you really have are rock music and the championing of free thought, which is and never was a big revelation in America. - stoanhart, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2Oh don't worry. - Lynxpro, on 02/07/2008, -3/+3Debatable as to which one is really the "village idiot". The current President never argued over the actual definition of the word "is" unlike the prior White House occupant.

- arizonabay, on 02/07/2008, -2/+7I'm definitely not a Hillary fan, but the overt sexism that seethes from so many diggers here is absolutely repulsive to me.. Who gives a ***** how attractive you think she is? What does that have to do with her Presidential campaign? Certainly none of the other candidates are subjected to such nonsense.
- Lynxpro, on 02/07/2008, -2/+2...and how many women gauge how they vote on how the male candidate looks? JFK vs. Nixon? Seems to me the support John Edwards received back in 2003/04 was strictly due to his looks. He certainly did not have experience going for him.
- arizonabay, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3...and why do purple elephants sink and pink giraffes float?
In answer to your question: I have no clue. I do think, however, that your analysis of Edwards' support is pretty weak. Experience is certainly not the end-all-be-all decider in campaigns; ideology, vision, gravitas, political prowess, and speaking ability are plenty of other factors that come to mind. And if those women voted for him in 2004 solely because of his looks, why did he do so poorly among women this time around? And if there's nothing to Edwards but his attractiveness, why did his largest base of support consist of middle-aged white men?
Regardless, I'll take a swing at this straw man: if a she-digger were to make such a superficial and base comment about a presidential candidate in the same fashion as Mikhail; I'd obviously condemn it as well. Seriously. Look at the comment you're... defending? "Ugly ass dyke". Misogyny is a word that has become watered-down because of it's egregious misuse by hypersensitive types, but in this instance it fits like a latex glove.
